    Light entertainment/fun/summary type discussion.

    Not according to the charter.

Politics, as with anything else, should be allowed to be discussed here. But don't take it seriously and accept that most people wont be discussing it seriously and most will be trolling.

    1. PM them.
    2. Your not going to last here long if you try to show them up and/or try make a fool of them.

I don't think people should be stopped from discussing it here, but I don't think it should become a political forum either. Sub-forum ftw!

Politics as discussed on the politics forum is like attending a student union debate, all over-eager tweedy types raising points of information and lambasting each other with oh-so-original witty remarks poached from Withnail and I or Oscar Wilde.

Politics as discussed on AH is like politics discussed in a pub, most likely Moe's Bar. Some boardsies get riled up, some haven't a clue but join the chat anyway, some actually contribute to proper debate. Leave it alone, it's entertaining.

Yes, a lot of the time you get humorous remarks and jokes about politics here in AH and it might not be appropriate for those posters to post the same thing in the politics forum.

I screwed up my vote (hey I'm in good company, a third of the electorate did last time).

Should have been yes, this place is regimental enough as it is, with more locks than the grand canal, ye have the mods running in circles here, trying to please everybody.

AH is a relaxed place to discuss politics but it also puts some political issues into layman's terms.

Questioning mod instruction on thread is against the charter. This is your one and only warning.

Take this short break to find out, or just reply to my PM.

A Short PM to the mod in question should always be the first step.

Politics is fine - just don't mention football.

    Or cookers.
