the spawning in that map is disgraceful

It's sh!t. Every explosion sounds the same no matter what makes it and it sounds crap at that. You think they would have put a little bit more effort into it.

Its ****ing ****e. Its world at war part 2. Graphics and sound are a joke. Gameplay is terrible. Shocking lag, spawns are terrible. Leaderboards etc are messed up. Prob trade it in soon. Absolutely shocking game.

Well how about you extend on your post. I KNEW there would be people who wouldn't like the changes that they have made to make the game harder. Why is the gameplay terrible? Why are the graphics shocking?

Yes. Ive played mw1 for 2 solid years, mw2 for the last year. Im sick of BO already. Its like playing a 5 year old game. If they put enough effort into gameplay, sound and graphics as they did gimmicks like the playback thing, stats for each gun etc they might have a half decent game.

It nothing got to do with it being harder lol. My k/d is 2.67 on mw2, Ive played clan matches against the best teams in Europe.
How can I extend saying the graphics are worse then mw1, a 3 year old game, some with sound.

Grenades go off with a muffled thud rather than a bang in reality, so I don't have a problem with that, but some of the sound effects aren't great.

Spawn spots on Nuketown are horrible.

The lag is atrocious for me, i drop in 2 bullets but its taking full clips to drop everyone else, really frustrating

Had one online game it lasted 3 mins, it was jittery as hell then migrated host jittered for another 30 seconds then lost connection all together.

They're really not.





So far.... from the games i've actually managed to play without crashing/getting kicked. The game is actually excellent imo, its just far superior to mw2. So far the guns are great, killstreaks are balanced, tho i did get like 20odd kills with the choppergunner earlier. Groundwar is soooo good compared to mw2.. absolutely no noobtubes, awesome. Maps are great too, haven't played them all yet..



Right now tho... i feel like throwing the ****ing ps3 out the window, i've crashed like 3 times in the last hour and trying to play with a group is impossible... i guess its to be expected for the first few days tho.


Theatre mode is ****ing great too.

First impressions were not great although it's starting to grow on me,graphics and sound are a bit of a step down,guns sound like kids plastic poundshop guns.the lack of all the bull**** of mw2 makes up for everything though.the main problem I'm having is waiting around while it's searching for a game,it can take a fair while at times

Sniping is pointless and non-existent in the game, needs to be patched. Haven't unlocked the bolt-action yet though but even Battlefield sniping is better. Spawning and knife lunge could do with a patch. Outside that, it's potentially great if they fix those things.

I'm a bit devastated that they don't have titles anymore (i'm aware you can make your own) one of the most fun things about MW2 was unlocking them.

EDIT: Actually also, Playing the same match 3 times in a row!!! really gotta take the previous map out of the map options.

bloody hell the spawning in this game is absolutely awful, way worse than mw2 imo

still loving the game thou but all the little things like knifes, spawning, bad noise effects etc will catch up with it eventually

Im in the middle of playing the single player at the moment, haven't gone online yet so this comment only applies to the story mode, but so far I'm finding parts of it pretty frustrating. It's not terrible, but it needs a lot of polish, and its definitely no modern warfare.

There seems to be a lot of "learning by dying" in it, and the friendly AI is dumb as a post and is no help at all. Also, some of the enemy AI spawns are terrible. I'm in the middle of the battle of Khe Sanh at the moment fighting my way down that bloody ridge, and it's just waves and waves of viet cong who look way too similar to my friendlies spawning right beside them, ignoring them, and running towards me. I clear an area, go in to a bunker, and by the time I've come back out ten seconds later, the same area I just cleared has been re-overrun again by more VC, and I have to fight my way back out through a crossfire from multiple sides before running somewhere else and the same thing happening again.

I still haven't made up my mind, but between the AI issues and the constant confusion and dying through not having a clue what's going on and getting no clues, I just feel like I'm being lifted out of the experience too much to stay immersed in it. Hope it improves.

Stupid stupid stupid....went into a game of demolition, got a decent 2.5 k/d and realised I had disabled my killstreaks when I unlocked them! :mad:

Played online all day today, it's really growing on me, mixed thoughts at first.

Spawning is terrible, the sounds are a bit "tinny" but other than that it is a lot more balanced and laid back compared to MW2.

Starting to get the hang of the maps as well.

Famas is a beast!
