    Do the projects have to be varnished? was about to varnish but ran out of time. If so would it affect marks by much? :confused:

    Not necessarily, but you will probably lose a few marks from the appearance section or something like that if it doesn't look well.

    I'm happy with the appearance as is, I'd say I'd miss out on a few marks but still happy with the project. Cheers :D

    You could let the leg go up through the top. If the leg is square, something similar to this may work. If you have rails going between the legs they could be fitted the same way. http://www.i-see-my-path.blogspot.com/
