On #3 they obviously only really care about the second part of the brief. Anyone with any skill at woodwork at all should be jumping for joy at that. Dovetails, Through Double Mortise and Tenons, anything that shows (not a biscuit joint). Get attractive wood with a nice grain pattern, maybe a knot or two and then finish it with high gloss varnish and you're laughing.

If your doing brief 3 you'll need to do fairly complicated joints like dufftail ones.

    Read the brief man.

"and should celebrate the visual appeal of hand-crafted joints"

A hidden joint like dowels do not celebrate the visual appeal

Alright, man. Though you can do simpler joints that will still celebrate visual appeal.

Well if you want a A or B you'd want the more complicated joints.

dovetail joints are easy. for my project im doing dovetail for drawers. finger joint for the top the through mortice and tenons. not all the joints have to be seen so you can use biscuits and dowels for some bits

i found the best idea ever for no1 higher level, it lowers your carbon footprint with no screws, bolts , glue , varnish etc , its like a puzzle you put together all halving joints

I found my idea for no.3 (higher) i think it is perfect, joints wil b shown and i'll get beautiful wood :), any suggestion for wood??
