    You actually installed the software?

Yeah no good will ever come from it!

Lads, see the 660ti is essentially just a 670 with the memory bus narrowed (which is essentially just a 680 with less texture processors), would you say you'd be able to flash a 660ti into a 670/680 like with the 6950 -> 6970

    Zero chance unfortunately.

Among probably many reasons, there's no memory attached to the disabled memory controller.

Yeah I'd say you are right because I can't see nvidia letting people get a free graphics upgrade because it would make the 670 redundant . I would say when its OC'ed it could nearly match or beat the 670 it just all depends on how good a GPU you get .

I used a RAT 9 for a while. I will say this: It looked absolutely awesome. As a mouse though, it wasn't great. It was built really well, performed fine (can't say I noticed too much of a difference between it and my MX Revolution to be honest), I just couldn't get used to the shape at all. I'm using a Performance MX now, and it's very nice.

    You actually installed the software?

yes i did. having to customize my mouse every single time after restart did not made me a happy camper too. saving setup on a mouse it self? oh lord... that was fun...

So, What do you think lads-these prices sound reasonable?

    AX850

PSU is 3 months old, comes with fully sleeved cables (if it makes a difference €80 worth) thinking €140 ish

    FT02

Case is 14 months old, thinking about €150 mark?

    Sabertooth Z77

Thinking €180ish-its about 2 months old?

Posted this in 'How much is my computer worth?' no reply-like a 2nd opinion, thanks.

    120

    120

    150

if you want to sell it fast. if you want to hold on to it and then sell it by droping to those prices, then

    140

    140

    170

Probably a little lower on the MB imo - I know its only two months old but it is second hand etc.

BTW did you notice a whine when the small fans spin up - it's wrecking my head. I don't want to have to install the Asus software to set up a profile for it to shut it up.

Read somewhere last night (can't find the link now just my luck) of someone with a single monitor setup using three stock 670's. Aren't one of these over kill for a single 1920x1080 monitor?

No such thing as GPU overkill :D.

In that case I should probably buy a new mobo haha. Only realized after putting it in the case it's not xfire or SLI compatible. Only one slot.

restarted there & I never noticed procrast, I have the the loudest fans I have AI suite/thermal radar installed, and both these 'assist' fans (Asus waffle:rolleyes:) are at default. Thought I saw a comment buy yourself re. how good thermal radar was, why did you uninstal it?

:eek:That's pointless unless its a 120hz monitor, and even then two would be more than enough..

Thanks all re. evaluations, its hard to be subjective at times. X79 better be worth it..

They're probably planning for Crysis 3.

How old is the mouse Headshot? The EU 7 day cooling off law applies for all online purchases, so if you have it less than 7 days after receiving it, you can send it back.

Day old but its a good mouse just the software ****s it up

imagine I have to have the dpi at 1000 because razer see DPI=sensitivity now

I use to have 1800 dpi and sensitivity around 6-7. Man that was awesome. It was like an extension of my arm

So no more tray icon-all this synapse cloud ****e? Hopefully they will amend it with newer versions..I'm not updating my deathadder drivers again anyway.

Got my Sensei raw in the post today at bloody last, just getting used to it but feels quality so far..smaller than the deathadder but very solid. I will set it up properly later and see what the software is like.

So it's back to the old 'but will it play crisis?' yardstick again then..

Nah, we're back to the standard EA yardstick:

Game (X+1) is the same as Game X, just with a couple of new weapons and maps.

Won't be any harder to run than Crysis 2.

    Really? Tech demo looked amazing.

I agree. Then again, so did the first CryEngin3 demo preceding Crysis 2. If EA doesn't cripple a lot of the graphics like they did with Crysis 2 (accepting that that was fixed somewhat with the high-res texture update, never mind that that's what was promised from the start) then it'll be good, I think.
