Would I be able to use industrial strength velcro to mount a reservoir in my case or would that be a bad idea?

How likely is it to slip and shatter or slide slowly and put undue pressure on the fittings?

Knowing my luck it's guaranteed to fall off and smash. If it comes to it I'll drill a few holes.

More of a Ponzi scheme, early adopters get huge payoffs but soon it becomes unprofitable to invest. In pyramid schemes you get rewarded for signing up others, and you get a cut of their rewards and so on.

Havent been using my PC in ages since been away. Turned it on today to play Rogue Legacy, left and came back to find the whole thing frozen. Turned it back on to play L4D2, freezes after 3 mins. Not a good day.

Works fine when just doing normal stuff i.e watching videos and browsing the internet.

I think it could be my GFX card overheating, might be a bit dusty actually.

They're definitely worth it. I hate booting up computers that don't have one now.

    What'd you recommend for a 120gb one?

Samsung 830 or 840PRO. Hands down.

840 EVO is getting all the praise now for cost/performance.

Hows it lads, what do you think would be a reasonable asking price for a 2nd hand Silverstone FT02, black no window? Thinking of getting an Enthoo Primo instead..

Also, the M500 has be coming down in price a lot lately, so worth a look at for an SSD.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 626 ✭✭✭Seaaan

840 pro is out of my range.
M500 and 840 evo are both ~85 delivered. Which is better?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 878 ✭✭✭Luck100

evo and m500 are pretty close, just a matter of personal preference. I think evo is a bit faster, m500 has better protection against data loss (if power is interrupted).

You definitely don't want/need the pro, it's more expensive than the evo and won't perform any better for a gaming machine.

Right, sound lads! Samsung is a trusted brand of mine so I'll get the 840

Lads, a wee bit off topic, but anyone knows if you need itunes to put music on iPods? I hate itunes with passion and I dont want it on my pc. I want just to be able to drag and drop mp3 files in to damn thing.
Misses needs an mp3 player, so I was thinking of grabbing her some ipod nano etc. Or maybe anyone knows a good other brand? Cheap and cheerful?

I've the Clip+ and it's great - expand the capacity with Micro SD cards, can play a huge number of file types, is tiny and sounds great!
