Yeah, that's West of the Liffey, but still. Even Cooldrinagh in Leixlip would have done. At least that's South Kildare nearly, but still Leixlip.

Cooldrinagh is in [Co] South Dublin.

The postal address might be Leixlip, Co Kildare but, like Weston, it's actually in Dublin.

Only some of it. Most is on the southside.

Nope. Odd numbers are north, even numbers are south.

The Phoenix Park is D8, the only even numbered northside district.

Ah but that doesn't really count. Most of Dublin 8 is Southside. The rule is generally true.

I do yep. A dub is a person from Dublin, why would you not be a dub cos you're from the southside?

To be a Dub you have to go back 3 generatrions, your grandparents, parents and yerself have to be born and bred, it used to be just between the canals but it's gone out to the city so as long as it's a D whatnever number.

I'm not a Dub and anyone who things that the southside of the city is better or posher has never been in an around Fatima mansions or dolphins barn.

I'm a Dub, then. Parents both born and bred in or around the Coombe/Cork St area, their parents were from St James' St and I was born in Santry, D9. My kids are all Dubs, too.

Not that I know of, the Áras is certainly D8 anyway. Forgot about Chapelizod though (surprising since I grew up nearby).

It's close, but the old man was from the Southside. Lourdes road to be exact.

We all hate Carlow. Although, that one day did endear me to the place. I quite like it.

I'm running for President next year, so I can no longer say anything bad about my home town.
In saying that, the inbred hicks are complete and utter ****, and I wish them all slow and painful deaths due to their inbreeding.

The peope of Leixlip are really nice though.

Woooooooooo!. I'm a Dub by your thingy.
I denounce my Dublinese. I'm from Kildare and sort of proud of it.

    Vote for me.
