I got mine in Tesco in Blanch a while back.

I found them to be picky about USB cables. TBH I've found that with charging in general or USB powered HD's.

I also got both types in Jervis about 2 weeks ago.

ditto. Lots of power in the battery and the bendy LED light - dead handy for late-night reading in bed, especially with the Kindle which has great easy-on-the-eye screen but needs some light.

I bought a USB DSi cable. Handle for journeys, for that and the iPod and other MP3 players. Also used it for the phone but not that often. Handy when you grab something running for the door and realise it has no power.

Charge it up via USB and if your out all day and the iphone goes dead then plug the sync cable in and it'll almost fully charge the iPhone. Then go home amd charge up the unit for another day :)

need an iphone for that hehe

It can be used to charge/power anything with a usb cable connection.

Very handy device, works for the mini usb also.

Some folks have used it to plug one of those bendy laptop led light things in on the bedside locker for reading in bed. My wife uses hers for charging her bluetooth device via the mini usb while charging her I5500 samsung phone via the full sized usb at the same time.
she also uses an e-cigarette so it comes in very handy for charging that as well.

For the price tbh it's a must have.

Tried it with my phone and my e-reader which is what I really wanted it for and it didnt work with either.

Hooking one of these up to the mini HD spy cam (another big bargain thread) so I can record 1hr 20mins of 720p HD.

...then mounting all of that inside underwater camera housing to video my next dive... ;)

Plenty there at the weekend, theres Duracell stock on shelves at the end of an aisle facing the tills, roughly middle of the tills, chargers were on the left of the shelves.
