what should i wear to my forever 21 interview?

    I don't see them bringing us all in on the one day! Like it's in the same place and that room was big but I doubt you'd fit 250 people in it (more like 100 max) and not everyone would be able to hear! They might split it up over the day or something, hopefully we're all in at the same time anyway!
    Did you get a time yet karl? I don't think the other girls did but it says 9am on mine!
    I think orientation will be like a little training day or something, they'll probably talk alot about the company and their goals for the store. We might get our hours too. I'd say they'll give us a quick summary about it when they ring/email anyways!

    Do you guys think we'll be allowed buy stuff before the store opens? I'd love to wear their clothes on the opening day, plus it might make people buy them if they notice them styled well on staff members hehe :)

    i really think they will tbh , they might let us in the store to buy cloths etc before it , sure they're not going to have you in other shops cloths opening a new store ye know ?

    would you say they will let us were like other brand shoes like ?

    such a weird and funny story, i was nervous yea but it was a laugh. i didnt like the way it was layed out , i felt like the front row got a better chance to answer a few questions as they could here a answer the questions and be heard , the people in the back (me:P) couldnt really hear the girl etc but was great crack , i introduced me self im karl blah blah im a pisces :P they main people up the front started laughing etc but people didnt really get that were sitting down cept for 2 :P then after i said i was a singer song writer etc she asked could we get a song and i was emmm ok then i sang a really high pitched song like fogle from superbad hahahahah it was a laugh,i got through anyway.the second i really liked , every body got into their pairs and there were girls in a all these groups of 3 and then there was me and this guy thye who barely spoke ,really quiet , and so out time came and i had already picked out the outfit while the first group where up doing their thing, but while i was explained what i thought was nice etc for our given title , he just stugged his head and said yea ok and barely gave an input , so it came to the actual presentation and it was kinda nerve wrecking because there are girl watching your outfit that know what to wear etc haha and they seemed to like it , i was matching a studed whit low cut top,with a chain and studs on each shoulder , with black studded ankle high boots with other and things and a clutch bag "thats nice and small ye know , fits under you arm if your out , nice and small ye knw does the job , bobs your tea pot" hhahaha wats was i thinking haha
    after we finished our outfit and as we just sat down a blonde came and asked me a thye to come on to the second stage,i was like what ??really how come the people before wasnt asked over straight away i asked myself!!as i was sitten by the door 3 were standing there talking and said to me we didnt expect you's to know what you were talking about so well , because two lads picking out a girls outfit etc
    anyway as i was walking into the nterview to my table there was my old manger from river island louise haha and she stud up basically screamed hi haha that was so cool because i havent seen her in ages ( she gorgus) :P any way went through all the answers that i practised etc and my tasks etc and she understood the examples of having to i- ball rails in a store and and change stock on mannequins at busy times etc .i wasnt being cocky and saying aw its my old manager i have the job but i still gave it my best and said all my answers i studyied etc ,she was surprised at some answers and said we havent heard that sort of answer yet etc ,so i got the job any gave louise a hug and she gave me her mobile number if i have a problem ?? didnt know how to take it :P and i walked out past the main english girl with the short hair really sad with my head down and she looked at me like ahhh what basically and den i ran back in and started laughing and said see ye on the 27th gave her a high five ran out the door and then. . . . .fell up the stairs hahahahahahahaha ****ing shoes

    i really enjoyed yesterday anyway.what really enoyed me was in the first stage ,this sap beside was repeating my points right i finished "ye ye make sure they know your there " i was snapin!!!!
    some people were way to casual compared to what i was wearing ,i felt like a bit of sap being to dressed etc but sure they said to me they noticed it when i walked in so thumbs up , and they wernt surprised when i said i liked jude laws fashion sense :P
    there were very pretty girls there and they were all nice aswell , none were stuck up either
    tbh im looking forward to working with ye donna should be cool and same with maniacle (forget how to spell her name but you know what i mean) and same with elecctric bloom :)


    Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeer you got the job aswel :D
    gonna be great laugh workin here.

    I'd say we can wear anything that doesn't have visible logos! Not sure though, we'll probably be told on the 27th! I hope we can wear converse because we'll be on our feet all day and they're the comfiest shoes I have! They won't go with every outfit for us girls though :( lucky guys!!

    when he girl offered me the job, she was just tellin me all details and siad you have to wear forever 21 clothes. so i think we do. dunno about shoes though.
    and the 10% discount, that is ****e ! haha

    right you know the way its xmas right and they are getting their temps in , were permanent staff yea ?? thats one thing im worried about , they might mix me up with a temp and let me go by mistake :P

    Really?! They never told me that. I don't think they can expect us to buy everything from there with just 10% off..like we will probably have to buy a whole new wardrobe of clothes each season.. Maybe they'll give uniform allowance or something? I hope we can mix and match brands because I have so many clothes already and no space in my closet for more lol

    they just might let us pick out a uniform for free :pac: since its their first store opening hahahahaha if 250 got a free out fit ,god there goes alot of money haha

    LOL @the Topman jeans thing.

    I'm pretty sure we're permanent staff.. they'll start looking for temps soon.. thats what they're doing now with the New Look thats opening. They started off by hiring all the permanent staff back in August, and now while they're training their permanent staff etc they're looking for temps (: Saw that on the Jervis site there a couple days ago.

    it feels good to have a propper job now with out having school or anything to bother me and its not just a christmas job and i dont have to wory about signing on etc

    when i walked in i chatted to a guy that went in with me , and then another guy came in i was like wats the story and all haha all the girls were over in one corner on the couches chatting away but i wanted to go oveer and say hi but a grouo of pretty girls can be pretty intimidating hahaha

    Yeah I wanted to talk to one of the groups but then another girl came in on her own so I ended up talking to her and she was lovely, by the end of it there was 7 or 8 in our group and every new person that came in joined in with us, I guess we were approachable/friendly!

    at the end i dont have a clue who made it or not,while everyone was still looking at people's presentation of the outifts i had just went into my interview

    Nope.. I havent been given a time either.. Guess its only full-time people they confirmed a time with :/ Guess we'll have to wait for that call/email lol

    I've my college review week during that time so all is good lol:D

    so its only the full time'ers that have a confirmed time ?? thats weird

    im in at 9 so should be good

    looks like me and donna are the only full time heads that are on boards haha

    i wouldnt say full time people are getting trained more than the part timers etc so i dont know why yes arent in at 9 , but it could be to stop confusion with the amount of employee's etc, deal with the full time and then the part time

    I'm only doing part time and my induction is the 27th at 9 in the morning.
    i hope she didnt think i wanted fulltime :/

    well maybe they gave out different times etc


    i really hop we dont share a canteen with new look :P and i say all the full time people will have lockers :P

    Yeah I'm part time too and I'm 9am on the 27th...I mean I said I could do a lot of hours if they needed it, but I hope this doesn't mean I'm actually full time!

    They'll need us a lottt after the induction day. Afaik when the new York store was opening they had some people working day shifts and others working night shifts to get all of the stock out on the floor!
