im new to cork, was wondering if anyone knows of any jobs that might be going in social care or if anyone knows where there are residential care homes in and around cork as they are usually always looking for relief staff? any help would be really appreciated!!!

You might try Care Choice in Montenotte - this is only about 10 mins. from the city centre (there is also a Care Choice in Whites Cross which is outside the city) - I'm not sure if they are recruiting at the minute but it's worth a try.

I'd say your better bet is activelink.ie sign up to their weekly mailing list and you can browse existing vanancies (both paid and unpaid) on their website too. There has been similar to what you are asking for in the last month, though they appear gone now in Cork at least. Give it a go.
