Bane has come to seek the assistance of Hank McCoy in developing a non-addictive form of Venom that may be safely used by himself and others. While hank is running baseline tests of Bane's ablities Jessica Jones bursts in announcing she has been sent to arrest Bane for various criminal offenses. Swamp Thing has arrived on the scene as well die to the fact that Venom production is pushing several rare plant species to extinction and unbalancing the ecology of Santa Prisca. Before either can act Beast sets the cave's controls to random adn moves to aid his guest who he feels is trying to reform himself.

So the new version of Bane's venom that Beast is working on contains plant extracts? :D


And they will fight Plant Thing in the Danger Cave which is a giant stone room which is under the X mansion which is set on a few hundred acres of forest and the like?:p

Swamp is going to have a field day here, and one of my faves in Bane is gonna get mashed up.


Beast starts up the room and the various battle sequences start to play, Swampy just uses his Parliment power to cause the stone room to crush everything inside of it.


Swampy Jones for a very easy win.

Jones' fast flight capabilities should give her team much needed agility. Swamp Thing is also fairly impervious to conventional attacks. So i'd say Jessica Thing will win.

Swamp Thing is nearly unbeatable, best one could hope for is a slow rejuvenation. Jessica is a determined and talented adversary . I say Bane and Beast are going to lose in this battle.

Jessica Jones has been dispatche to Macau to escort a U.S. diplomat home who has been recieving death threats. Unfortunately she arrives just as Deathstroke is launching his attack on the diplomat. He immediately sees her as an impediment getting paid.

Have to side with the man with the hyper reflexes, healing factor, and all the other nasty skills he posseses.



Deathstroke with a handy enough win. Jessica has talent and heart, but Deathstroke has pretty much everything that would be needed to take out a super human of Jessica's level. Her speed and flight won't help her as Deathstroke has the reflexes to take out the Flash.

JJ has super strength, flight and a degree of resistance to damage.

Deathstroke just outclasses her. Outclasses her so bad. He's also super strong, though probably not to the same extent, but he'll easily out-fight JJ, infact I doubt she'll even get a hit in. She wasn't able to resist a venom blast so I imagine a lethal blast of Deathstroke's staff should teach her!

Poor petal is a goner.

Although Jessica has superhuman strength and is resistant to injury, I don't think she's going to make it past Deathstroke. He will out think her , putting her at disadvantage. His fighting skills are better than hers, his strength while not superhuman are enhanced enough to give him a really good showing. I think Jessica, while very good, just doesn't bring enough.

Buffy has come to Atlantic City in search of a demon that burns it victims from the inside out. John Blaze is passing through when he spots a robbery in progress. Unfortunately as he is wrapping up Buffy appears and makes the logical deduction that the flaming skull guy probably burns things. Without questioning him she attacks.

Buffy has her scythe. For this fight we using the John Blaze version of Ghost Rider.

Can't argue with what kess said in the Discussion thread. Buffy has gone down to the depths of hell and defeated the first evil, but that was more Spike's glory than Buffy's. Also, Buffy's other bigger victory against Glory was really Giles'. I'm not sure she has what it takes to take on a powerful being in the magnitude of GR on her own.

Ghost Rider is just too powerful, so Ghost Rider FTW! Now go and beat Swamp Thing dammit! :mad: :pac:

So Buffy has the weapon that she used to kill Nathan Fillon.


Now the Blaze/Zarathos version of Ghost Rider worked very differently as a pairing than the Ketch/Kale version, so Zarathos would have no problem with the human side, Johnny Blaze, taking a full force hit from the scythe, maybe even letting it kill Blaze.


Two things happen now. One is that Buffy has possibly killed Blaze or more likely given the power level of the scythe, she has only knocked Blaze out cold.

The second thing is that Zarathos is now fully unleashed, a demon who literally consumes souls and who is able to control the elements on a planet wide scale, and who is pretty much an equal to Blackheart and Mesphisto in terms of power, and is one of two demons, the other being Mesphisto, who has fought Galactus one on one to a stalemate.

It is god against bug time now



The Second strongest Ghost Rider obliterates Buffy, consumes her soul, and strolls into the next round.



Ghost Rider for the easiest of wins.

Buffy has taken down gods etc before...

... but she's really just a poor man's Batman with bewbs. Her power has always really rested with her support network. Everything she faces has a weakness that Giles etc researches for days, weeks in the case of anything on GR's level. In straight fights without a battle plan she often gets schooled.

I think she'll be prepared for this fire demon, so assuming GR is it, well, that's probably her fatal mistake. If she attacks GR without a GR specific strategy she'll just die.

I don't even think GR will need to bring on the Hell Fire or Penance Stare, I think he'll just chain whip the girlie to bits.

What difference would Willow make against Zarathos though? Unless Willow is suddenly in the Galactus class of power.

To my knowledge the only being in the Marvel Universe to school Zarathos totally was the Beyonder.
