Categorically and unequivocally no.

In fact I reckon it's more the other way around. In recent months I know of 2 or 3 girls who have cheated, and only one guy.

Shockingly, I know of one girls who lives with her boyfriend of 6 years , calls out to a guys house for a bottle of wine and a booty call quite often. When he told her "that's it, they can't do it", she got pissed off at him and said she can't understand why he's doing that!! What a b/itch!!


Guys *might* get pissed and have a random score. From what i've witnessed, girls are way more sinister and actively plan it.

I've been with my wife since we were 17. That is 17 years - do the math on that one. Half our lives together and I have never cheated. It has never even crossed my mind.

How would the OP like if some guy started a poll on whether every women in a bad mood is obviously PMS'ing?

I did once. Wasnt particularly happy with who i was with, and had a bit too much to drink. I know thats no excuse (there is no excuse), and i felt worse then i had ever felt in my entire life for days afterwards.

Ne less then i deserved though.

In fairno though, this does come up alot; girls (I use that term for a reason) in a group encounter cheaters on regular occasions in their romantic relationships, and in those of their extended acquantances.

And this occurs for a very obvious reason. The boys these girls attract/chase are just plain assh0les. Simples really. They share the same socio-economic background, vlaues etc so therefore they will always encounter the lad who's likely to cheat, if they never climb out of their rut, take the blinkers off and realise there's a whole world of different people around them.

Srsly OP (if indeed you are being serious), take a long cold look at the people who are telling you this. Start with your flatmate, then your girlfriends, and their boyfriends. What do you see? What traits do they share? Therein lies your answer.

Speaking for myself, I have never cheated & I can only think of one guy of at least 20 I could name off-hand who has cheated.

i think all men ARE CAPABLE of cheating, and that's a hugely different statement than saying all men do in fact cheat. i think any 100% straight guy, if confronted with their all time sexual fantasy and in a situation where they believe there will not be caught will cheat. i do think every man can be seduced if the right buttons are pressed etc. whereas a large(r) portion of women would simply never ever cheat.

am i wrong? the fact is men are born to ride everything attractive...it's hard wired and difficult for most men to control although - in the context of the OP's question - the not so vast majority do

I read something on boards the other day (I think Thaed may have posted it), that says men who beat their OH's believe that's the norm, men who wear red T-shirts believe that most people wear red T-shirts. It stands to reason that guys who cheat would believe it's more common than it actually is.

So, no, not all men cheat, just as not all women cheat!

I thought it was people based around the med? It's not cheating really, they are allowed and expected to keep mistresses who are quite young, but it is frowned upon to do so openly and in public, and it is especially deplorable to leave your wife for the other woman.

What are you basing this nonsense on?
Believe it or not, the desire to cheat and the desire to have sex are not intrinsically linked. Cheating requires that there is either a lack of respect between partners or that the relationship is failing or incomplete. Simply seeing a sexy woman does not disengage a man's ability to make a rational decision.

There is a world of difference between fantasising about doing something and actually doing it. Otherwise you could extrapolate that most men are capable of being murderers too because we've all imagined killing someone in anger at some point.
