See my post here for my main reasons, although I could give a lot more

1. XBox or Ps3 ? - Played it mostly on Xbox and a little on PS3, same issues on both systems
2. Have you played WAW - (ever, how many days) ? Yup, a considerable amount
3. Have you played MW1 ? Yup, a considerable amount
4. Have you played MW2 ? Yup, a considerable amount!

Awww...Ok then, that pretty much ruins our theory !!
We reckoned that if you had come to Black Ops from MW2, and never played or played very little of WAW, you would not like it. But you obviously have played all of them, and therefore our theory is sh1t

We loved WAW at the time, and although we felt MW2 wiped the floor with everything that came before it, we think this game is "like" WAW but 10 times better.

I really like it anyway.

Yeah, that too I spose.
Its like a mixture of them all. It feels most like WAW though, but with much smoother animations and brighter maps etc. It has the choices then of perks etc like MW2 but 10 times more attention to detail in there.

Its early days of course but I had a lot of fun playing it all day yesterday !!!

Lads.....this game is FU*KING AWESOME!!!!! I really liked MW2 but hated noob toobing and quick scopers. I never played WAW.

This game is way more intense than MW2. I havn't once seeing a guy running round the map with a sniper killing at close distance which is brilliant. I havn't been noob toobed once (I'd say this will come in time tho).

When game loaded to the main menu, I started pressing

L2 & R2 and the guy stood up. Dunno the codes for the mini games, maybe they are the numbers the lady in the intro is saying?

I havn't touched campaign or zombies yet, just online to catch up to my friends rank. I'm top of the leaderboard of my friends, ranked 496,000 something, score per minute ranking is kinda clever.

Spawn points can be a biitch, a good few times I appeared right in front of multiple enemies! I have only been using M16 and at rank 15. Wanna max out it's challenges before moving to the next gun. I actually like the money system. In MW2, everyone had the same ol' setups but now you have to buy the attachments, weapons, perks, etc, I have to carefully choose only what i'm gonna use, afraid to spend money haha. Contracts are an added bonus, some seem deadly but I like the way they give a realistic time to get it down.

Still not familiar with the maps (only playing it 2 hours) but that will come in time. Alright, back to it!

I wasnt mad about it until I ranked up past ten to be honest,It looked great but i was getting r@ped,but once i was able to make a class and buy the enfield supressedit really began to grow on me,the only problem was getting into games with a party of six but i'm sure they'll fix that flaw

Lads if ye strayed away from the nooby gamemodes like TDM ye would find little noob tubing in mw2. None in s&d for example.

I have been noob toobed once or twice in the game, but with no OMA I don't mind

I have met a couple of quickscopers and tried it myself but nowhere near as bad as MW2

Gonna do some commentaries on my first games, then some more advanced weaponry next week :P

rank 30 here, like it but they will have to sort the lag on ps3, but probably the same for who u are playing against.

true there is little little grenade launchers in s&d on mw2, but there are plenty on hc s&d, at the start of the level.

i played alot of demolition on mw2, and sometimes it was unplayable against a team using oma and danger close. none of thgese perks thankfully. also can't throw a grenade half way across the map anymore

Not really, there's bound to be some mistakes

The things that bother me the most is hitting people dead on and the bullet not registering.

Quick question - for those of you who were posting FPS numbers, how were you obtaining them? Is there a console command to display your FPS, or did you use Xfire/Fraps/something else?

Having Xfire popups coming up as well as Steam poups wouldn't be the ideal so I'm hoping that there is some way to do it ingame

type in CD then press enter, then type in DOA the press enter

yes there is a console command for your fps, open the console and type "cg_drawfps 1"

Picking up my copy today but no hardened versions left in GameStop. Does anyone know if you can down load the additional maps on XBOX Live once you've got the standard version?

Also - would love to hear if anyone got the prestige and tried the remote control car for real?!
