As with every Treyarch CoD production, it seems to be a reskinned version of the previous IW game. In WaW at least they changed the theme, this just looks like a shoddy attempt at copying MW2.

And Rc cars for kill streaks? Wtf is that.

In fairness, theres only so much you can do when it comes to a modern shooter, its not like they can add uber lazer beems and ****. MW2 was just a copy of MW1 with updated everything, BO's is probably more of the same. But sure its not like they're doing a fifa. In general tho.. most series don't stray to far from the core gameplay mechanics of the rest of the series... all the halo's are the same, both mass effects are the same, fifa, pro evo, uncharted, mario, zelda, BF etc etc

True, but I've never been a fan of Treyarch to be quite honest. CoD3 was a woeful attempt at a WW2 shooter, pretty much trying to copy IW. If you showed me BO, CoD4 and then MW2 and asked me which was the original modern CoD game by just looking at gameplay vids I'd honestly put it in this order BO > CoD4 > MW2 (Original > 2nd > Most recent CoD game)

I think w@w is a great game, treyarch uses a modified version of IW's engine. I dont think you realise how important that is tho, if they used a different engine the games would feel completely different, if they were gonna do that they may as well just make a new game entirely that isn't connected to call of duty at all. I really like the look of BO's, can see why some people don tho. I dont see the problem with the perks tho, maybe last chance but the rest of them seem more balanced than mw2's.

Will be interesting and i'll save my judgement until i actually play the game. Another interesting fact, apparently only a third of the treyarch studio actually worked on w@w, whereas for blackop's everyone worked on it. One thing for sure tho, treyarch are without a doubt better than IW post-release, IW are absolutely awful at supporting their games once they get the money in. CoD3 was horrible tho, i agree.

its €79.99 for hardened edition (gamestop), i know as i have pre-ordered the hardened edition for myself from gamestop. i'd guess €160 - €180 for the prestige edition.

Yes and any video ive seen is just mindless sprinting around, prone diving and just stinks of more arcade muck to me personally.
Im not a fan of MW2 and was hoping BO may be different, im warey of judging a game by videos but it looks like more of the same to me.
Atleast with WaW Treyarch made something that felt somewhat different to play, despite the poor weapon sounds and annoying dogs WaW is a decent MP game imo.
Ill get BO for my son on 360 if its decent ill get the pc version.

yeah this game is practically the same as MW2 (perk wise) and it sucks. im disappointed with the perks, a lot of them are imported from MW2, i thought this was going to be like WAW more than MW2, and i LOVE WAW, still play it almost every night. at least there doesn't seem to be too much noob tubes? i haven't seen any in a vid like a weapon attachment! can anyone confirm this?

Tubes are back, cannot use scavenger to replenish them

TI - got an upgrade, unable to use in non team based games, cheating is reportable
Lightweight - same, it was grand in MW2
Hardline - pro version very powerful, no deathstreaks
Marathon - nerfed, back to WaW, pro will be useful
hardened - wasn't in MW2...

If you want to play WaW, I do not see why you should fork out €50

well its like this you get sick of playing the same game day in day out, i love waw but there just isnt many people playing it anymore and when black ops is out the numbers playing it will drop big time again, cuz zombies is on it too. and also im sure the campaign single player will be worth it with all cod's, THATS why im buying it. but MP im kinda disappointed in its too MW2 alike for me. just take out heartbeat sensors thermal scopes, a few perks, etc etc, its very similar

Guys lots of pew pewing going on about the game. If you dont like the game then dont buy it. A few of us still play MW2 on the PC. We have great fun playing CTF, its the only game we play. A few of us like camping, a few running and a few doing different stuff.

The game is still graphically great, runs well and can be a lot of fun. Its got Peer to peer which is total shat being honest. CODBO will fix that so I personally cant see any negatives if you like MW2 at all.

As for hackers in MW2 we use the kicking tool to get rid off if one of us has host. This will be fixed by dedi's as well. Admins along with the video replay options should allow good decisions to be made re hacking etc.

yeah the report a player is a little dangerous, but they will review it like its been said. its only if your boosting or cheating. i was playing a mw2 match other day and all of a sudden round 2 of ctf the enemy team has like chopper after chopper, pavelows, and ac-130's non stop, i think its for that kinda thing, real cheaters hacking and ruining the game, i dont think you will get banned for sitting at your own flag for half a match. thats defending.

Thats what i mean , they (treyarch) cant possibly tell if you were boosting or not .

Lets say your in a party of 6 playing against another party of 6 , you destroy them , bit of trash talking when the game is over and the opposition decide , fuk him lets all report that he was cheating /boosting .

thats where theater mode comes in, they have that to show if you were cheating or not. they can view every single thing you did in the match, even if you dont save the match in theater mode they will have it on their server, when they get a report they will know the date time etc, they will have a record and can call the match up and see exactly who did what, well this is as far as i know or i read this on someone elses post on the codbo forum
