I've never had that much of a problem with dropshotting tbh. I do it occasionally as well sure. The only thing is if the enemy is quick to aim down at you they can get an easy headshot.

Drop shotting is a pain in the hole, especially in competitive matches. It doesnt anoy me as much in public play because there isnt an awful lot of people that do it. With the hosting situation, even on a 4 bar connection there is still a 100ms latency, the whole idea of drop shotting is to make yourself unhittable for that split second your dropping (And ofc the smaller target when your on the floor). It doesnt take skill, just requires you to use a different setup. I sometimes drop shot, even tho im using the standard layout, but i'd much rather it not be in the game.

Competitive MW2 was/is plagued with dropshotting UMP/ACR tools unlike in COD4.Tedious doesn't describe it. My old clan were dropshotting junkies, which was somewhat embarrassing tbf despite us winning the majority of our matches.
Yet the majority of them were barely getting any kills in general

Dropshotting does exist in Black Ops, ive seen a vid where the guy drops identical to the way in previous COD games. It doesnt bother me that much and can be useful sometimes.

Yes. But when used excessively, it's bloody annoying IMO.

Yeah agree 100%. I wish they would just remove the ability altogether but if they dont you have no option but to use it or put yourself at a disadvantage

Yeah, you cant do it while sprinting tho. Most people that do it don't even think about it, they do it so much its like a natural reaction to drop and shoot at the same time. They cant do that in blackop's without risking diving and being unable to shoot for however long it takes.I drop when im reloading or if i get flashed, so im sort of glad you can still do that. But the guys that sprint round with marathon and drop like flys when they see some1 will have to change there playstyle if they want to rely on dropshotting in blops.

I always taught it was natural to duck when someone is shoothing at you!!

Exactly, It makes sense that it was added by treyarch.

For people who hate the people who drop-shoot, Just start shooting down. Its the only way to overcome the problem as infinity ward won't fix anything in the game anymore.

The fact is that all games get abuse in whatever gives someone an advantage. Sure look an noon tubes.

Treayarch fixes it so they couldn't be abused, But that doesn't mean people won't find something else to abuse in the game.

Lets just hope treyarch do something about it.

Im just lazy and cant be arsed switching to the tac layout, no point starting it now either. Your right tho, there will no doubt be something for people to abuse in blops, just hope its not as anoying as noobtubing !!

Drop shotting on consoles is fairly balanced i feel, because you have to hold a button for a second or two to do it.

Where as on Pc, where it was called dolphin diving.. you just had to tap what ever you had set for prone and you were on the ground. BF2 was where it shinned, even with the delay to take your weapon out.

Looks like there will be 15 prestiges.

    Heck.

    Source?

I spose it seems bigger than it is.. I mean for all 10 prestiges in MW2 that's 700 levels.. 15*50 is only 50 levels more by my math.

I hope they make it impossible to do these challenge lobbies this time, Or reset people who use in them, Id only go 15 prestiges if you could tell you did it legit. I think the time required to prestige will be more like cod4 time rather than mw2 time

Alot shorter, You could go up a prestige with around 20 hours or less of play time, takes like 1.5-2 days on mw2

Anyone else think the gun graphics look a bit, sh1t? Is that a mini uzi he's using? And the person we see ina killcam using an M16? Maybe its that it just looks different from mw2 but I don't think the graphics look anywhere near as good.

As the poster above said, it's a Mac 11. I'm also thinking the M16 looks different because it's the early version of the gun, which looked different to the modern version.

Am i the only one that really likes the look of the graphics and models so far ? Look better than mw2 for me. The maps look like they have alot more going on in them aswel, alot of background noises, moveable **** etc.

EDIT - The mp5 looks like its gonna be a beast gun.
