I have been drinking Phuca in the Fransiscan Well. Tastes like Christmas, all spices and fruitcakey.

Belgica - an American Belgian mix beer which I think was more Belgian than American. Quite sweet for my liking but a good try.

Last night had a Wiehenstephaner Original Non alcoholic.
Considering that I rarely drink lager with alcohol, it wasn't half bad at all:)

Anderson Valley Hop Ottin IPA : very nice hoppy beer for the hop heads out there.
Very floral hoppy taste not bitter though, would very likely buy this again.

Had a Meantime London Pale Ale last night, thought it was a bit boring. Not bad but I've had much better. Like, O' Hara's Pale Ale which I had last week. That beer is simply delicious!

Yup, Schneider Original is a (pretty dark) hefeweizen whereas Weihenstephaner Original is a Munich Lager - as is the Original N/A

Holzar Bier 500ml swing-top bottle. Another Dunkel but much better than the others I tried recently.
Very dark red brown colour and a light malty taste with hints of caramel.
    Great smell also when poured.
Will go back to this beer again as it really is good quality.

    Where'd you get that from?

Nearly finished my second bottle of O'Hara's (Carlow) Leann Folláin. For anyone who tried it when it first came out and was in a 330ml bottle, this is not the same beer. I did not like the first one but this one in the 500ml bottle is brilliant.

Had a couple of bottles of Lech 500ml the other night, wasnt too bad at all for 1.89 a bottle.

Last night had a few bottles of a Brazilian beer called Brahma, going 4 for 4euro in the local off licence. Quite drinkable, smoky taste but at the same time very smooth, any of you guys ever heard of it before? First time I had ever seen it. Funky bottle too.

It's been around for a few years now, a pub in Derry does a bucket of them(4) for £8 but I can't say I enjoy them that much. They remind me of Corona, pretty sure they're served with lime wedges too.

In saying that, it's been a while since I've tried one so I'll give it a go if I find any.

Just had some Brew Dog 5am saint, and some brooklyn lager. Very impressed with the 5am saint! Had the Punk IPA recentky but much prefer the 5am saint. Tasty!

Been trying to branch out in my beer variation recently with it consisting of Belgian/German/Polish beers mostly. After seeing the 5am Saint in my local off licence I decided to give it a go this evening for a bit of a change, and I was really impressed with this! Nice flavours and extremly easy to drink, finished the 3 bottles I had bought and was still longing for more! Will definitely be trying this again, any other recommendations along these lines?

Speakeasy Prohibition is very similar in style, and lovely. For something even hoppier, and Irish, O'Hara's IPA is superb.

Thank you kindly I will keep an eye out for these, my local off licence is great for a selection of foreign lagers and what seem to be locally produced English ales, but sometimes they get some Irish stuff in, I will enquire with the manager and see what he can do for me!
