April 2010 Xbox Call Of Duty Tournament details

Format will be 3v3, TDM, 3 maps per match.
Each team will play home and away. Home team picks two maps, away team picks one.

To register your team post in the teams thread in the social group (I'll edit this post later with the link)
To register just yourself, post in the players thread. On the 31st of March, we'll form teams out of the players thread, and draw up a schedule.

Each team will play every other team home and away, and you'll get a week to play each game. teams can organise the time amongst themselves, but

You should be able to commit to at least 1 hour anytime between 7 and 11, at least two nights a week.

If you can only play weekends after 11 or all midnight to six am mon to fri - don't join.
if your ma or your missus watches the only telly in the house all evening - don't join.

It'll be a nightmare trying to organize six people like that.

that means, if one team offer to play the game any day between 7 and 11, and the other team only want to play outside those hours, the other team forfeits the game. Miss two games (for whatever reason) and your team is out.

I'll post this here rather than in the fixture list to prevent clutter there.

So by my reckoning, that means we'll be finished by around 25th of July. One point is that when you get to June/July, there might be some problems with people on holidays. With only one listed "sub" here, then that could be a problem. Can teams bring in external subs if needed?

yeah - there are floating players in the social group, you can pick one of them. If none of them are available, I don't really have a problem with you bringing one of your mates on temporarily - I'll probably be away for the odd week myself.

yeah - tommy posted to join a team, but unfortunately there were four free players, so I put the first three on a team and added tommy to the floating players. I don't think there's a load of floating players - I'm not mad on strict rules or anything, just want to make sure the same rules apply to everyone. So if no-one has a problem with subs, neither do I

yeah - that's what I plan to do anyway. Add teh captain, set up a private match, invite the captain of the other team and let him invite his team..

il play if anyone needs a team member?? im pretty handy at cod

is it going to be hardcore tdm that way there will be no radar or anything like that, i do that with me mates it a good laugh because you can run into your oppenent at anytime without relying on his gunshot to appear on radar

That's a good point. We haven't gotten the rules hammered down really. Are we allowed use any killstreaks? If so which ones?
