I'm not sure if it'd be on one date, trilla, I was thinking of something over a number of weeks. Lets say that we'll try to get 30 people ready to go by March 17th and take it from there - sound doable?
Sounds good.
I played for about 45 mins last night, and the last thing I did was to confirm a Prestige. I'm P2 now, so will be starting from Level 1 tonight. The 17th (ish) gives me a bit of time to get some unlocking done.

oh yeah, forgot about this. Right, so things are starting to pick up in work and I'm not going to have much time to organise this - so we'll give it a go, and if it doesn't go smoothly - SMOOTHLY boards.ie!!! - we'll knock it on the head. I'm more than happy btw if someone wants to take over the reigns or create a website or whatever. But I'm not going to have the time to chase people up for results or make sure matches are played or whatever.
Btw - can someone please start a public social group (http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/group.php?do=create) so that we can keep details in there? You can only create one apparently
ok - I suggest we go for a start date of April 1st. Here's what I reckon we should do:
Format will be 3v3, TDM, 3 maps per match.
Each team will play home and away. Home team picks two maps, away team picks one.
To register your team post in the teams thread in the social group (I'll edit this post later with the link)
To register just yourself, post in the players thread. On the 31st of March, we'll form teams out of the players thread, and draw up a schedule.
Each team will play every other team home and away, and you'll get a week to play each game. teams can organise the time amongst themselves, but
You should be able to commit to at least 1 hour anytime between 7 and 11, at least two nights a week.
If you can only play weekends after 11 or all midnight to six am mon to fri - don't join.
if your ma or your missus watches the only telly in the house all evening - don't join.
It'll be a nightmare trying to organize six people like that.
that means, if one team offer to play the game any day between 7 and 11, and the other team only want to play outside those hours, the other team forfeits the game. Miss two games (for whatever reason) and your team is out.
