I already selected on a few days ago .. Going to be some lottery of a race with the ground.. I think he is still about 28/1 and carries 10/7..

49. Officier De Reserve, Irish National, Only one run this year, altough he has left nichols, V Williams is as canny as they come, has run well over long distance in the ground, in the past on a higher mark, and of his mark carrying only 10:2 in this race he looks the best value..

Thanks for the offer Pointbreak, but I can't access the wagering sites from work, need to run out at 2pm your time, all value would be gone by then. I need to wager on any early picks before I go to work.

Thanks Aidan, I did actually include that pick in a combo play that is still to start running with Tom Segal's 1000 and 2000 Guinea picks, I wasn't sure if you had any others you liked.

I always pick Deep Purple at aintree, but just couldnt resist Albertas at that price, If Deep Purple had skipped cheltenham to run here id be napping it ..

i thought the same meself aidan it would just kill me if he won and i had not got a red cent cause i back him all the time regardless of price really likeable horse and evan williams as a trainer is someone i always keep an eye on,he has Phidippides in the 4.20 that is most certainly on the up tough race but i will be havin a small e/w wager on him at 9/1

Yeah , the 50/1 to place advised looks huge now.
All he has to do now is jump 30 of the biggest fences in racing and get past 39 other horses:rolleyes:
