I got 1 person on my friends list who i play regularly with/against.

Number one usually goes 10-23 in tdm , last night we lost a game by a single point , everyone else on the team was positive but he went 17-28.
Ok you might say no big deal, except when the fcuker is playing against me he goes positive.

Yep, it just increases bullet penetration through walls and the like I think it is.. Which is why I hate getting the 40 odd kills with it for extended mags, need to be through a wall

Or glass, Terminal and Highrise are great maps for this.

On Highrise, you can stand behind the glass and shoot out. You don't have to be miles away and shoot someone through it on their end.

Oh yeah, I forgot the glass counts.. Still, after a few minutes most of the glass is gone. I guess it does make it a bit easier though.

Salvage : into one of the concrete pipes and sticks a claymore in front of him and has no problem staying there for the whole game.

I kinda wish I still had MW2 on the PS3 to see what the games are like there.. Unfortunately, I lost it when my brother switched the disc with one from a game I rented. So now I have Smackdown! v Raw 2010 and no MW2. I even went in to xtravision to explain it and they said they recorded getting SD! V R back, so I dunno

Why, after the debacle that was the M16 in COD4 did they put in another AR that kills in 1 burst and leave the overpowered M16 in the game? It's ridiculous that a FAMAS or an M16 can kill me as fast as a sniper bullet would. Add that to the fact they have a mini-M16 in the rafficas for those who run out of ammo on their FAMAS.

I can live with most of the other flaws with the game because they weren't made in the previous game but this really takes the piss.

In fairness, there are plenty more overpowered guns in this game and the most annoying is the fact that the sniper rifles are underpowered

Yep. It went on Tuesday. No word as yet, but tis early days.

Think I'm likely to trade it in when it comes back for a new Jasper chip one. Just have to decide between an Elite or Arcade now....

Go for it.
The Arcade one has HDMI now so the only things the Elite have over it are :

Black Colour.
HDD.
Headset.

If you already have the headset and the hard drive (from your RROD machine), I wouldn't bother shelling out the extra cash just for a black console.
Unless you really want one of course and money isn't an object.

ps: You can trade in all of your peripherals or just the console itself.

When you say HDD, I presume you mean the HardDrive. Yes, I have one on the Arcade I own, but will need to give that in with the trade-in surely? They'd hardly accept one without it now? Or did you just mean the greater capacity?

Is there any difference between the headsets for the Arcade & Elite? I will have the X1's anyway, but do sometimes just use the regular headsets too, so will need one of these alright.

None of those differences so far make me want to swap. There is one possible factor that would sway me to go with the Elite. I've heard it's quieter than the Arcade? If this is so, then it might be worth it. But still probably would go with the Arcade.

On the subject of the HDD's, I'll need to copy off game data I presume, so I can keep it for the new box. Is there much involved in this?

Was playing HQ Pro on bailout. Location is the house near the center of the map that leads onto the bridge. I just hit lvl 70 so my class is ak47 w/ tube, scavenger pro, cold blooded pro, ninja pro. I was shooting for the most part, only tubing when I could see groups of enemies or into the HQ while they were capturing it.

15 seconds til HQ is online. I run up the stairs in that house. Boom, claymore but I see the other team are already there, fine. Spawn near the amusement place. Out the door and towards the house. Noobtube out. Fire in the upstairs window. BOOM! Triple Kill! Domino explosive chain reaction. Nice! Reload the tube. Fire again. BOOM! Double Kill! Omnicide! Very nice.

Then I get the message. "NOOB". So what? I wasn't only tubing. That was the first time I had got such a large multikill in the match. I write back. "No, not noob. Noobs run around with Danger close, OMA and the tube always attached. Did I do any of those things, No."

Fine so, he goes quiet. Then I get another message. "No, that not noob. u a noob. they have close range disadvantage so not noob"

How can you consider "tactical" tubing noobish and OMA glitching not. Ignorance of these people. Rant over.

Pisses me off when any sort of explosive or grenade used makes you a "noob". I killed a guy who was camping on Karachi with my thumper, I spawned not far from him, saw him still where he was, launched a perfectly aimed grenade and took him out, then he starts calling me a noob on his mic, what a dickhead.

completely off topic got my first flawless the otherday on derail with an intervention rifle(hate sniper rifles)5 kills,no deaths and 13!!!!assists...Crap at aiming:( and no i didnt camp

Today, MW2 really don't seem to like me. I 3rd prestiged tonight and in my second round of the prestige I went 22-2 in Rundown. I had not unlocked the ability to change your killstreaks so I had UAV, Care Pack, Predator. I called in 2 care packs and I got a Pavelow in each. I got a message from another guy saying I hacked. I write back it was just lucky. Then he said to prove it to him. In the next round I tried to prove myself innocent and show that I hadn't hacked. I got a 4 kill streak and messaged him to show him my care pack and since I always get (counter)UAV's and AMMO, I expected one of those. Instead I get a stealth bomber. Again he calls me hacker and I get another care pack to try again prove I didn't hack. Chopper Gunner. D'oh. Why can't you get good care packages when you want them and can't not get them when you don't. :rolleyes:

Not always. Head/chest level shot on a guy (he popped up over a wall and all I could see was shoulders and up) who was all of 20 feet or so from my, with my Intervention with SPP on Underpass and the ****er survived. Wasn't even last/final stand ffs.

No, you can hang onto your HDD (hard drive) if you want. They give you a price for each part that you want to trade in

Jasper models are quiter - All consoles manufactured after a certain date have the Jasper chipset, including smaller power brick and quiter operation. You do know that you can copy the actual game to the HDD which means the disc does not spin during gameplay which equals much quiter operation

On the subject of the HDD's, I'll need to copy off game data I presume, so I can keep it for the new box. Is there much involved in this?
If you just purchase a new HDD you will get a transfer cable/kit with it, if you trade it in instore they will transfer the data for you while you wait

They were great and scored me loads of xp (I went up 10 levels in the space of 2 rounds) but it is more the principle. I don't want my name bashed on some other forums as a "hacker"

i prestiged the other night and all i got was frigging ammo's resupply's counter uav's.

Just cause you get some tit who thinks your hacking , no need to feel you have to defend yourself.
Happened to me a few weeks ago ,as far as i know (chat settings to friends only) i was being called a hacker , glitcher cheater etc etc , sent the guy a friend request to see what the problem was(so i could hear) and turns out no problem once that was done.

Was playing MW2 for the first time in over 2 months on my mates PC yesterday afternoon.

He just hit 7th prestige and thus I was using care package.

Playing SnD, 5 out 6 of the packages were ammo
