Izoard- I'll give up sticking my head into the goodie-press and stealing the kids treats
T runner - Sugar (added sugar to tea, coffee, cereals etc.)

average runner - Fizzy drinks, my real downfall area.

BrokenMan - Chocolate Bars and Crisps
RacoonQueen - Chocolate(creme eggs ) and fizzy drinks except the day of/after the Barcelona marathon if I deserve the treat. :
menoscemo - Crisps, I go through about 15 packets a week and I doubt they give me anything good back
another world -Chocolate. It´s going to be tough, I eat at least a bar a day

beamgirl - chocolate, finding that it gives me heartburn recently but still cant stop eating it!

I am soooooo looking forward to those lovely chocolate eggs, I have not got the words for it. Whoever said the cravings would stop after a while was a damn liar!

The missus must have gotten her dates wrong, she re-started baking her sweeties this week, and I could only stare at them.

Thank Goodness there's only 4 hours and 40 minutes left. :D

Lol forgot about this thread. I made it two weeks and then caved in, first snuck a little chocolate and second with the wine. What willpower eh? )

I wasn't on the list but I made it!! I'm afraid to have any chocolate, sweets or crisps now though for fear of the inevitable binge to follow! Damn easter egg in the corner begging to be eaten!!

Whoohoooo! I made it! I'll probably pig out on chocolate today but I am so smug about it all I'm going to keep the crisps and coke thing going for another week :D

• Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,340 ✭✭✭TFBubendorfer

Oh thank God that lent is over. It was much harder than I thought it would be!

On the plus side, I've lost 6 pounds without ever going hungry.

On the minus side, I've probably gained most of them back by tomorrow and if I go into shock from sugar overdose at some stage today it would not come as a great surprise.

I'll be good again on Wednesday (I think), for Connemara. ;)

Phew, made it anyway....finally finished something! :) Haven't managed to get my hands on any Coca-cola yet though that might change with a trip to the pub in the pipeline tonight!

 I lasted til 4pm :o mmmm crisps

Haha, and I'd say it was the most satisfying packet of crisps ever!!

I felt as sick as a pig after all the chocolate - I don't think my body knew what was invading it!

No crisps yet though - gonna see how long I can keep that up. The only times I really struggled with the lack of crisps was when I was drinking so should get another few days at least... Let's see how stubborn I can be with my smugness!!

Delighted to have made it as well. It felt a bit reassuring when I passed all the goodies at work, the lovely baking at home and the other temptations. The lent thing made it a bit easier.

Had my fill of chocolate yesterday and was thinking about doing another spell without all the junk. I certainly felt better without it. Morale there somewhere!;)

That's very evil - I have an unopened can of Pringles in the house, and you've just made me very hungry. On the other hand, I have a 1:29:50 half marathon to run tomorrow, so I'm going to have to attempt restraint by willpower.

• Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,340 ✭✭✭TFBubendorfer

Blimey, you extended that lent for a long time.
So long, in fact, that I have started another no-sugar fasting period in the mean time.

I'm also on a no-sugar buzz. No sugar, dairy or yeast. Feeling better even after 3 days.
