It's a graphics tablet, specifically a Wacom Intuos 4. You connect it up to your computer and it allows you sketch directly into whatever drawing software you like to use! They're pressure sensitive, so you can even do shading and all kinds of detailed work with them. It's a much more natural sensation than trying to scrawl out a drawing using a mouse, so they're great for anybody who likes art and computers. But they cost like €300. :p

I don't get how those things work... Like, how does it know where to draw the thing on screen? If you're drawing a person, for example, how does it/you know where to put the lines or whatever?

That sounds confusing, but I've no idea how to word it any better...

As far as I know, the area on the right of the tablet represents your screen. It uses an absolute positioning method, so, if you place the pen in the top-right corner of the tablet, your cursor will appear in the top-right of the screen and so on. There's a switch on the pen which you can use to toggle between sketching and just moving the cursor around, so you can easily see where your strokes are going to start. The controls on the left allow you to choose different colours for your brush, and to zoom and pan around your drawing in whatever program you're using. ...it's difficult to describe, but it's supposedly very easy once you try using one!

To give you a better idea, here's a video of somebody doing a drawing with one (just the on-screen part of the process, sadly)

As for the skulcandy headphones, are the actually worth the discomfort/awkwardness as compared to some in-earphones?

Dont know where you heard that......

They're decent, my primary in-ears are actually skull candys. Why? Because they were on sale in HMV and I wanted a pair of adequate in-ears cheap and semi disposable because I used to go through ear phones very very quickly.

I like them, they look nice(ish), and they comfortable (Very important) and the sound is decent. But I am under no illusions about their sound quality, it is fine for when I'm out, I have nice speakers in my room for home listening.

The whole of C&H would need to go splitzies and would still be broke after :P

If I spent everything I have, I could buy half the guitar.

    Oh wait! :P
The guitar was damaged when Matt threw it at a strobe light. It was confirmed by Manson's guitar shop that the M1D1 had split in half, and is now in pieces at Hugh's shop.

I don't care if they're not the best, I want a pair of big mad Skullcandy headphones.
Just browsing Amazon, thinking of something like...

    41Pn0g4DopL._SS500_.jpg

    or possibly just

    41Ecf5j00%2BL._SS420_.jpg

Indirectly made 120€ today and it's burning a huge hole in my pocket.
Plus they're only like, ~€30... and I like 'em.
