A statement by Monday Night Grappling:
Those of you who saw the recent edition of Monday Night Grappling will be aware our General Manager William Regal was shot at from behind by an unidentified assailant. The board of directors would like to update fans that Mr. Regal is fine and is at home resting. He was seemingly shot at in the buttocks by a plastic bullet. The assailant remains unknown.

Mr. Regal has refused to allow the police become involved insisting he plans on getting the culprit himself but alas he is no condition to do so at the present time. As a result MNG has decided to get someone on the case and we the board of directors feel there is only one man qualified enough to solve this mystery...

Ladies and gents my celebrity pick for this round is none other than the legend himself...

    .

    .

    .

    .

    .

    .

    .

    .

    ...Leslie Nielsen!

    Leslie_184309t.jpg

With his experience is solving the case of the two Undertakers at Summerslam 1994 he is the perfect man for the job!

Mr. Nielsen gave a short interview outlining his intentions.
Reporter: Mr. Nielsen are you confident of finding who shot Mr. Regal?
Nielsen: Yes I am. I have an idea.
    Reporter: What's that?
Nielsen: It's a plan formed in my mind through thinking.
Reporter: No I mean what's your idea?
Nielsen: I'm going to interrogate every single MNG wrestler until I find the truth.
Reporter: You know a lot of guys would have liked to take him out?
    Nielsen: Take him out where?
Reporter: No I mean take him out cold.
Nielsen: He doesn't like the cold?
Reporter: No I mean to try and hurt him.
    Nielsen: Ah, I see.

Watch out for Mr. Nielsen's appearance on the next edition of Monday Night Grappling as he attempts to solve the case.

Pingi Dip Number: I will plump for number 8.

At number 12 I thought I'd be left with no good celebs. Imagine my shock to be able to select Floyd Mayweather Jr. A man who can claim to have drawn 2.7 million PPV buys, an all-time record. Legit one of the greatest boxers ever to have graced the ring. A natural heel who will blend in amazingly well with the Million Dollar Man's faction and can cut a promo better than 99% of pro wrestlers. A man who gave the finest in-ring performance ever by a celebrity against the Big Show at Wrestlemania and seems to have a natural aptitude for the business. A man who's WWE debut at No Way out was one of the most electric in living memory. A man who is guaranteed to draw interest from both legitimate sports fans and the mainstrea public alike. Delighted with this totally unexpected windfall.

I'll take the man who was robbed of an Oscar
    Mickey Rourke
    the_wrestler08.jpg

Mickey Rourke is a really interesting man. He was essentially Brad Pitt when he was younger but gave it all up to become a proffesional boxer, his face got ****ed up so he tried to have it fixed with plastic surgeries only to make it worse but since Domino his career has had a resurgence and he's puit in the two best performances of his career (IMO) stealing the show in Sin City and making the Wrestler a good movie single handedly.

    I will take number 3(D)

This round, which I think has been one of the most fun in the game, is almost at a close which means it's time to get ready for the last round of picks. We have lost Pingi from the contest but still have 19 names in the hat which I'm pretty sure is the most we've ever had going into a final round.

After the picks phase of the game is complete we will name a date for submission of our PPV write-ups, which will mark the final phase of the game.

So with that out of the way here is the draw for the Round 15:

    Round 15 (Final) Draw:

    1. Spongey1975
    2. glenjamin
    3. Mr Nice Guy
    4. waltersobchak
    5. campo
    6. jaykhunter
    7. Gerard.C
    8. Bounty Hunter
    9. Furious-Red
    10. SlickRic
    11. Jolt2007
    12. Voltwad
    13. dojojoe
    14. JP Liz
    15. flahavaj
    16. Cactus Col
    17. Vince135792003
    18. Bubs101
    19. Dare 2 Defy

So then to clarify Spongey, Furious-Red and jaykhunter will finish off Round 14 and then Spongey will kick things off for the final round of the game.

Good luck to all and for the final time...Happy Pickings.

My final pick of the game will be, as promised in my recent TV show write-up, a woman wrestler to round up my female division. I am going for a former 3 time WWE Women's Champion, famous for throwing the belt in the trash on Nitro at Eric Bischoff's request - Alundra Blayze.

    21.jpg

At an open air press conference hyping Wrestlemania in a week's time at Madison Square Garden, new MNG chief Vince McMahon was seated next to the woman who had once thrown the women's title in the garbage.

Reporters quizzed the pair on how they were now able to work together.
Reporter: Alundra has there been tension between you two over what happened on Nitro with you putting the women's title in the garbage?

Alundra: What I did was wrong and I knew I would get in trouble for it but it was Eric Bischoff's decision. He's a slimeball as evidenced by that new promotion he's at - WFCW or something? Anyways I'm over that and so is Mr. McMahon.

    (Vince nods)

Reporter: Well Vince, speaking of Bischoff, anything to say about Eric Bischoff and Hulk Hogan recently showing up on BWA and their challenge towards you?

Vince: It's cute that two small-time companies are banding together. Of course wherever Hogan's ass goes Eric Bischoff is usually not too far behind. But speaking of those two, Alundra don't you have something you'd like to say?

Alundra: Thanks Vince. This right here everyone is the BWA Women's Title...

    19.jpg

Alundra: I worked for that lousy BWA organisation two years ago. I was one of their star females. I know all about Hogan and I know all about Bischoff too. They think they are in Vince's league but they're not fit to be mentioned in the same breath as him. Working for those two was a nightmare.

Monday Night Grappling is the future of wrestling. BWA and WE-whatever it's called are a joke and here's what I think of them both...

(She tosses her old BWA belt in the garbage)

Alundra: There's an Eric Bischoff tactic for you. And I want my fans to know at Wrestlemania I will be entering the 5 woman battle royale with Akira Hokuto, Molly Holly, Mayumi Ozaki and the champion Victoria and I will emerge with a REAL belt when I am crowned the women's champion of MNG.

(Vince does his hearty chuckle as the conference closes)

I think Alundra will fit in very nicely having worked with Japanese wrestlers before and being strong on the mic. It gives me a really fine women's division and rounds up my roster quite nicely.

    MNG complete roster

    - John Cena (WWE Champion)
    - Samoa Joe
    - Lou Thesz (NWA Champion)
    - Lance Storm
    - Fit Finlay (Intercontinental Champion)
    - William Regal
    - Tiger Mask
    - El Hijo del Santo
    - Masahiro Chono
    - Jack Brisco
    - Negro Casas
    - Juventud Guerrera (Cruiserweight Champion)

    - Victoria (Women's Champion)
    - Akira Hokuto
    - Mayumi Ozaki
    - Molly Holly
    - Alundra Blayze

    - Leslie Nielsen (Chief Investigator)

    - Vince McMahon (The Boss)
