    Lancia Trevi

In it's day (early 80's) it was the dog's b0llix (and the car I first learned to drive in ):

It looks fine except for that diseased-wood panelling

I quite like my MINI interior. Lots of black leather, leather armrests, leather dashboard with red stitching, leather downtubes, thick velour carpets, anthracite headlining, and a chubby small diameter JCW steering wheel, even leather cup holder trim rings and a leather gearstick trim ring :)

How about this for an interior, in what is actually a 10 year old car. Only €28,000

Very nice. Never seen one with the "Trennscheibe" :D

But 28k is absurd, surely you agree?

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,662 ✭✭✭Voodoomelon

Yes and no. I agree in that yes, that car is not physically worth €28,000 in terms of what you're getting.

However there are extraordinarily few L7s available, so I can certainly understand the price. More of a collectors car than anything.

Porsche Panamera's interior is pretty smart, alot nicer than the exterior anyway:

For the poorer man, the SEAT Ibiza Bocanegra interior can't be beaten.

I don't have a pic, but the Astra is nice in this category as well.

    Edit: Oh, found one

Incredibly they give you an option on colourings. I've never been a fan of wood panelling anyway, and it would appear that they have included the brushed aluminium (from the S8), and carbon fibre (from the RS4) as options.

Although it would appear to not come with a choice in views :p

LOL the cabin is RIDDLED with buttons from the doors, roof dash and centre console, the gear shift looks like the warp-drive system from the bridge of the new star trek movie and then there's a 2 inch diameter analogue clock for telling the time!!!

VW Phaeton. A lot nicer than the A8, but essentially the same car.

Have to disagree there, I much prefer the A8.

Yes, I find it a strange addition to the new model. The older (D3 at any rate) never had an analogue clock, it had a digital one on the dash, and a complimentary digital display of the date/time at the bottom of the MMI display. They have also made the fold out screen more obvious when it's folded away (perhaps they are trying to become less understated)

I think the last car I saw adding one of those was a Rover 75 when it tried to pretend to be upmarket.

Me too, but I have to say I'd take a Phaeton fully specd over a poverty spec A8. Also the Phaeton shares more with the Bentley than it does with the A8.

Meh, A8 interior is only so so. Looks like a BMW minimalist dash. Large sweeping area in fromnt of the passenger and a blank plane (right by that clock) over to the driver.
Confusing layout of buttons, as a poster just said, and instead of the having the buttons on the dash, they shoved them on to the door, roof etc.

whats the yokeymejig on the far right of the A8s dash (on top) above the passenger airvent?
