I'm abit of junkie for gadgets, dials, bells & whistles. Post a picture of what you think is the nicest interior in a car.

Haven't got a picture but the interior of a Mazda RX-8 is fairly smashing!

At the risk of dumming this down into real-world territory, I'm quite fond of the interior in my 06 Passat actually. Spacious, well designed and looks nice :)

Put it this way, when I was buying it, it was the Passat or an A4 (same year/engine etc) and I went for the Passat because of the more roomy interior, and more "modern" feel.. that and the boot is huge, it has the fantastic DSG gearbox and is a bigger car overall.

Range Rover for me (proper one, not the Sport).

That new XJ is pretty special in pictures too, wonder if it's as good in the flesh.

Get a pic of the 10MY RR interior - thats the 07MY. 10MY looks much nicer imo. Ya, the new xj interior is stunning. Lovely place to be.

Brera - really nicely styled and special, but let down hugely by cheap plastics and average build quality which I think ruins it.

Same as me, I love the interior of the newer alfa 147s and Ford Focus mark ii.

Maybe not the nicest, but it is pretty fantastic. Everything's very well placed and easy to use. There's a lot of storage space hidden away in compartments. And there's lots of nice little touches, like ambient lighting coming on when unlocked, the dash lights up dimly and a little light lights up the ignition when you sit in, and the instruments switch to a different coloured 'night mode' when you turn the lights on.

I quite like my MINI interior. Lots of black leather, leather armrests, leather dashboard with red stitching, leather downtubes, thick velour carpets, anthracite headlining, and a chubby small diameter JCW steering wheel, even leather cup holder trim rings and a leather gearstick trim ring :)

How about this for an interior, in what is actually a 10 year old car. Only €28,000

Very nice. Never seen one with the "Trennscheibe" :D

But 28k is absurd, surely you agree?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,661 ✭✭✭Voodoomelon

Yes and no. I agree in that yes, that car is not physically worth €28,000 in terms of what you're getting.

However there are extraordinarily few L7s available, so I can certainly understand the price. More of a collectors car than anything.

Incredibly they give you an option on colourings. I've never been a fan of wood panelling anyway, and it would appear that they have included the brushed aluminium (from the S8), and carbon fibre (from the RS4) as options.

Although it would appear to not come with a choice in views :p

LOL the cabin is RIDDLED with buttons from the doors, roof dash and centre console, the gear shift looks like the warp-drive system from the bridge of the new star trek movie and then there's a 2 inch diameter analogue clock for telling the time!!!
