I'm bored of this thread and am really not arsed doing anymore. Everyone that I didn't mark gets a 3.

I have no idea how you kept it up for so long. It must have seemed like a funny idea at the time, gotten less and less amusing, and eventually turned into a pain in the hole. Seriously. 453 posts.

There should be a rule against 'greatest hits', 'best of's, and 'the essential's. They're CDs, not albums.

Being a musical snob isn't easy. Sometimes I wish I could put my impeccable taste to the back of my mind and just enjoy the bad music but alas that is not the case.

Music is subjective? To an extent. However, I spend all my time listening to music and now wish to give back to the community by letting you people know where you are in terms of taste. So don't be shy, list your favourite albums and I shall give you a rating. You're welcome.

I feel this thread deserves a Resurrection From The Dead. Some interesting reading.

Someone needs to step up to the plate and be the absolute final word in taste and rapier wit.

I think we can happily predict a Kold score of 1.2 for those Stealthfins and Ironman lists based on the Metallica, Guns N Roses and RHCP.

I don't listen to a broad enough range of music to really be able to appraise many of these properly.

However I know almost all of the last 3 lists and I'm giving them a 0.5 because they look like the editorial team of Q Magazine stumbled into the thread and a few Irish albums ended up in there by accident.

My other observation is this thread is plagued by blindingly obvious or go to 'rock fan who listens to the occasional rap album' choices.

I'm giving GlaDOS a 9 with one point deducted because he forgot.. no wait they're all there bar the live albums which don't count so he's gotta get 10/10.
