Right, Not too sure where to start to be honest... No matter what I eat, I put on weight... ANYTHING, if I have a bowl of soup on a Monday, I'm 2lbs heavier on the Tuesday... Sorry to hear that the tests came with a problem, but at least you've identified it now and can do something about it.
