"Dad, do I have a life script?"
    "Yeah"
Dad hands son blank page, then a can of Dutch Gold.:D

The alcoholic uncle coming to visit at Christmas was funny as well.

Just watched the latest ep online there. Definitely the funniest episode of the series!

The junkie with his yop had me in stitches. Oh and when the dad hands his kid the can of Dutch after he saw the empty life script was quality too

The mick the bull gag about using the crisp bag as a contraceptive was coming from a mile away and is at least 20 years old.

I like the show although it's a little repitive.

needs less Mick The Bull, hes funnier in small doses

WHA? ARE YE MAD OR WHA?

Naw, love the aul Mick, though he did pander to the older crowd a bit with old jokes. still, he's a great character.

still love the pres for life.

overall, quite good, less cringy bits, better editing etc.

yup, slowly becoming an institution, is mr savage.

he goes to the very funny to cringeworthy in the blink of an eye

don't like the duffy sketches, there vulgar just for vulgar sake

He's at least doing some decent satire, something I don't think a homemade Irish production has done in a consistent or funny way for a long old time.

Ha ha...do you see what you did there?

Anyhow, just watched it and thought it was a great episode.

The contraceptive song from Mary Robinson and the life script had me laughing.

Most scripted comedy series have peaked by the third series so it might be a good move. He could end the regular episodes, move on to something else and come back for the occasional special like at Christmas.

Final episode is on tonight ... Why is Ireland the Worst Place to be Irish?

Should be good. They really know how to wrap up a series.

Does anyone know whats the name of the song they always use for the British Rule parts?!

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,614 ✭✭✭ArtSmart

Some good moments, love anything to do with slagging HAYCHATHORRR BOY.

Seems to have diluted the satirical element a bit, which might be ok - long as the inane rubbishy web dating songs don't proliferate or dominate.
