Is there anyone running the half marathon who would be willing to pick up my number today or tomorrow and meet me on Sunday morning at 10am?

Have phoned organisers - they'll process entry over phone, but number needs to be collected tomorrow ... it's fine for someone else to pick up my number.

    Help appreciated :)

If you want, one of the 1:30 pacers could have it, that way you'll be sure to know who to look for. Does that suit? (All us pacers are meeting there tomorrow).

I'm in the same position, its a bit of a pain in the *** to have to drive to Limerick on Saturday to collect race numbers etc and then have to go back again on Sunday for the race...I'm driving from Cork, so its not too bad, but still....
I'll guess it will give me a chance to talk to the organisers and find about about parking etc.

If you dont find anyone to help you out by tonight I'll collect your number tomorrow morning, I'm doing the half marathon also but hoping to get to Limerick early on Sunday to take in the pre marathon atmosphere...My own marathon is on in 3weeks.

I have no problem collecting a few extra race packs tomorrow, and I can have them left in to a hotel on o'connell street then for ye to collect at yer leisure on sunday morning. Have messaged bazman saying that, but can do for a couple of others also, no trouble.

Hey, thanks for the offer....I'll get back to you on it soon.
I'm still toying with the idea of going up there anyway just for peace of mind a few things...water/fuel/parking/road access etc....(although I'm sure most questions have been answered on this thread)

Are you going to the expo tonight or tomorrow?

Just back from the expo, queues not too long and seems to be well organised. I love the way the names are on the number.

Was told by the office that registration ends today!

But it won't leave me pay online - rang again and they said that i had to register in person today. I'm in college in Galway been busy doing exams all week till this evening. There's no way I'd make it to Thomand Park by 6 o clock!! Any solutions guys? Will literally do ANYTHING to run on Sunday!

I was told that they would be taking registrations in person at the Expo tomorrow- this was for someone specific I asked about, so don't quote me on it, but I think if you called again and asked, they'd tell you for certain.

Website open again for entries this evening.

in a similar position, tried register online today but option gone - this only last minute because I wasn't supposed to be in Ireland this weekend but now I am and a lot of my friends running it so I'm very keen

anyway, person I spoke to on phone today gave me impression they would not be taking any more entries after today (and might even be closing it today before close of business), even at Thomond or wherever - I'd appreciate further clarification

Was at Thomond today for an hour mooching. Free physio (really nice, ex munster rugby, gave good advice on my knackered toes) good value pasta (10e for pasta, a roll, drink and a small salad). Also Paul Hessions nutritionist who looked appalled at my diet but again gave excellent advice. Expo is pretty small though.

One warning, registration looked hectic, I'd try and avoid peak times

Must agree here - I was there shortly after 2pm today and it was nuts! Just make sure you know your race number before heading in - otherwise you'll have to queue with the rest of the poor souls...

Oh Dear, now I really feel guilty for asking MarieC to collect my number.

I'm on the Ballyhoura website...have to say I'm tempted to see what the body could withstand...

...but no way I could get there by 7:30 (let alone run another marathon the day after!). Best of luck HM!
