    happy day's i'm goin home for 2 weeks from the middle east . only blot in the good time i'm going to have is my repeat on monday but we'll over that :) i've got a feeling today's going to be a good day

    I'm back in the workforce was in UL last year as a mature student - I went from being very anxious about the whole returning to education to loving the place. I'm enjoying my new job but I think all things being equal I'd prefer to be in UL, still it was a good day for me & this post make me feel like I'm still connected to UL!!!

    Iam currently stnding in Terminal 4S Madrid airport about to get my flight to Hethrow. From there I get a bus to Gatwick whereIll fly back to Cork t 8pm this evening. Having left mid June I am now day away fromUL!!!!!:D:D:D:D:D

    I think I've finished my thesis...just a few semantics and the Abstract to write, then its off to the printers! :)

    Submitted my thesis yesterday afternoon - 2 days early!

    6 months work, 25,000 words, 125 pages and €150 out of pocket, but its done!

    I celebrated last night with a 10 year old bottle of Bushmills whiskey, and plan on enjoying Arthurs Day today, and getting extremely drunk tomorrow with my classmates!

    Life is good! :)

    Walked from my house in College Court to Dominic Street in the city, and back to the Castletroy Post Office, and then back to my house, in 1 hour 40 minutes, when Google Maps told me it would take 2 hours and 25 minutes to take the same route!

    Had a presentation today, totally winged it, ignored my slides (that had feck all in the, just had the because we had to!), spoke from the heart and the Tutor said out of her 3 tutorial groups it was one of her favourites.

    Why is that bitching thread always so far ahead of this one. :(

    Have to say it but UL is so festive and lovely all lit up. Makes me feel all happy inside knowing the Christmas break is nearly upon us. Light at the end of the tunnel literally!
