Rollercoaster for Chris Cooper

After losing 110k to Matthias de Meulder with AA vs Meulders trip queens on a QQ9 board, Cooper wakes up with KK next hand and eliminates Tom Dennis. Dennis 4bet shoved AQ for 145k preflop. Maxime Dagorn raise UTG+1 to 12.5k, Owen Mullen calls from SB and Marc calls from BB.

Both blinds check and Maxime bets 10k, Owen Calls and Marc raises to 33k. maxime dwells for a minute or two before folding. Owen folded quickly and Marc scooped the pot.

A few hands after running his AQ into short stacked John O'Connors AA, Keith O'Brien ran his 44 into O'Connor's AA again and is now eliminated from the tournament.

Rob Taylor Eliminated

Short stacked Rob shoved 50k OTB with 73s and Thomas Brady called in the SB with Ajo.

The Flop of T46 gave rob a few extra outs but the board ran out A, J to give Brady the pot.

As he was leaving the table Rob said "I may aswell have had Kings, same result"

Con O'Sullivan Busted

Phil Baker wins 3way All-in

Richie Lawlor shoved from the HJ with AQ, Seamus Birt reshoves with 99 and Phil "best player in Ireland" Baker wakes up with KK.

The flop brought an Ace in the window but a King underneath means Phil eliminates Richie and cripples Seamus. Phil now has 220k.

Matthias takes some hits.

Matthias de Meulder, our former chip leader has taken some hits to his monster stack in the last few mins. First He doubled up Nick Morrison with KQ vs Morrison's AT, the board running out AAQA5. Next he got involved in a big pot with Gary Byrne, Byrne check raised all-in on a KQQ8 board with over 130k in the middle. The bet facing Matthias was 120k and he folded after a long dwell.

John Weafer Eliminated

John shoved over a button raise with 77 only for the button to snap with AA. The button had AA twice and KK in the same orbit!
