Ah, that was you eh. You were playing pretty well... Although don't know what you were up to trying to get her to fold that time. What did you have? Was it outright bluff?

I couldn't get my head around the game at all, too tired. I could see the table was soft as... Just couldn't do anything a out it. You weren't making my life easy either though :)

back at 1... Better get my **** together.

Eh she was so tight, had limped all her previous pots and only raised AA/KK so i presumed she had an overpair the whole way through the hand. I had a straight and flush draw btw. On the turn i decided to peel and reraise all in on any non AKQ river as felt she's fold any over pair.(still 100% sure she does seen as she thought id a house) Obv just didnt think she'd raise with such muck that included a 7 let alone two of them. Bluffing quads is great fun tho. Ill be trying it again in an hr or so. GL

Well balls. Have about 25k left. Get JJ on the button. Utg raises to 2.3k. I call. Flop comes 9 high. Utg leads for 6k. I push. He has to call 16k. He does, turns over AQ. I get up ant start putting on my coat. Turn Q. River A. I run sooo bad.

Hey guys sorry for the lack of updates so far we've been under tremendous pressure here all day and have no bloggers. We'll be doing updates for the rest of the night.

In our main event we're down to 132 players. Average stack is 78,400 and blinds are 1000-2000 a300.

Our side event is in its second level and we currently have 116 players, with new entrys until 8.30.

    Some Notable Players

    John Weafer - 110k
Phil Baker - 60k and apparently playing like a fish
    Jason Tompkins - 90k
    AKQJT (Marc McDonnell) - 190k
    Laura Lashes - 35k
    Rob Taylor - 112k

Richie Lawlor just moved tables and woke up with AA 1st hand, raised to 5k and chip leader shoves. Richie Doubles up ~80k

Big Pot on table 10, on a J42cc board Ciaran Taggart gets it all in with AJo vs an unknown player holding AQcc. Turn 5x, River 7x. Ciaran scoops 120k pot to bring his stack to 200k

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,881 ✭✭✭JP Poker

    More Notables

    Johnny L - 75k
    Doke - 55.5k
    Con 'Sullivan - 60k
    Mick Mc Closkey - 230k
    Alan Kelleher - 40k
    Keith Cummins - 75k
    Owen Mullin - 60k
    Willo - 28k
    Rob Taylor - 135k

    Ray Masters Doubles Up

Ray Masters pushes over John Corry's opening raise. Corry calls after a short dwell and tables AKo, Ray says "im happy to see that" and shows his 55. The board runs out Q994J to give Masters the 75k pot.

Oz Picks up nice pot Preflop

After a raise to 6k from Dave O'Reilly and a caller in the HJ, Oz shoves for 37.5k from the button. Both players fold quickly and Oz increases his stack to ~55k

    Good Call

We join the action on the turn with a board reading J85Thh, Will Scanlon, who was the CO, bets 8k and Seamus Burt (Button) calls. The river is the Jc and Will bets 12k, seamus calls after a short dwell and Will says "good call thought you had hearts" and mucks his cards, seamus tables 78o.

Good luck to all boardsies today. Only two notable hands yest when doubled up my 22k with 44 flopped set thru Fintan Gavin and then when Myles hit trip tens on river vs my QQ house. No AA, KK or AK all day but prob for the best, keep me away from trouble :D

Had position on Myles all day yest, now we swap around so expecting revenge :p
Never seen those Q's coming..... Revene my ~#$e, went in short stacked 9,600 had to get busy early, I'd no intention of being blinded down to nothing.. picked the wrong spot... Best of luck hope you go deep(better to give you my chips than the french guy to my left) ...

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,881 ✭✭✭JP Poker

Marc Mc Donnell keeps up the agression

After Marc's opening raise on the button, Maxine Dagoan 3bets to 14k, Marc quickly 4bets to 33k and Maxine folds after a long dwell. Marc Mucks..

Ciaran Taggart wins another big pot

Ciaran raises UTG to 5.5k, George Power calls in late position. On a K92dd Ciaran fires 9.5k, George shoves for 30k more and Ciaran snap calls! Ciaran shows QQ while George sheepishly tables AJo. The turn and river bring no held and George is sent to the rails. Ciaran is one of our chip leaders now with 230k.

    Action on Table 11

After a raise UTG, young Dublin player Carl Scott shoves for 42k only for the button to reshove for 60k. Utg folds AQ apparently, and Carl needs to get lucky with his A6h vs the French players QQ. The flop and turn brings no help for carl but the river brings the ace from space to double Carl up to over 90k. Phil baker shouts 1-1 as apparently in the hand previous the french player doubled through carl with KQ vs AQ.

    Some Big Stacks

    Chris Cooper - 170k
    Matthias De Meulder - 240k
Ciaran Taggart - 230k (sitting to the right of Matthias)
