Where are you getting MW2?

With a week and a bit to go to the official release I was wondering where everyone was planning on buying MW2? Anyone know of any bargain alerts or planned bundled goodies can let us know.

I am planning to pick mine up in the local xtravision they are doing a midnight opening AFAIK but if Tesco do the same as they did with FIFA I might be camping out there.

I reckon I'll be picking mine up from Gamestop in Stephens green as it's on my way to college.. I actually plan on pre ordering it tomorrow.. Wont be picking it up at midnight though...

I've bought every iteration of Call of Duty since 2003 but with the antics of Activision/IW I wont be giving the thieving feckers my money this year.

Head to Tesco methinks. There was a lot more general anticipation around for GTA4, and there was no trouble with the no of copies as such.

So i decided to have a look around the online sites and see which ones offer the best deal. So heres what i found

CD WOW: £44.99 ~ €50
Gamesnash: €59.99
Zavvi: £44.95 ~ €50
Play.com: €58.49
gamestation: £44.99 ~ €50 (includes courier delivery ordered before the 8th)
Videogames plus: $59.99 CDN + $7.49CDN P&P ~ €42
the Hut: £44.73 ~ €50

So it would seem the best bet would be videogamesplus if your not too pushed on getting it on release day....

Gamestop had it listed as €65 when I preordered mine but the guy was saying he was hoping that might come down before release

Yes that was 6 October, I see it's gone up now. I knew I was going to buy it anyway so cheap pre-order made sense.

Most Tesco are 24hrs so i don't think the one that aren't will open.

Just rang the local xtravision there, the guy said he couldn't give me a definite price until the day before launch but he reckons it will be €60.

Xtravision also have a list of midnight openings on their site if anyone wants to check.

Btw I dont work for them even though it sounds like I do.
