Has there been a successful vaccination program for TB in Badgers anywhere in the world?
Or is it all just a beautiful green dream?

Nope. It's a new idea. They sometimes have to be tried when the old way isn't working.

Not killing wildlife for no reason sounds pretty beautiful to me though.

What your link says is why Localised culling doesn't work. But New Zealand has shown that culling does work as does the fact that Ireland has reduced the incidence of TB by 37%

"These sets of figures were supplied by DEFRA and DAFF. The DEFRA data3 was sourced from http://www.defra.gov.uk and DAFF data4 was supplied in response to an email request made to info@agriculture.gov.ie.

Between 1998 and 2007 the number of reactors to bovine TB fell by 37% in Ireland and increased by 72% in England."

It is expected to be 3-4 years before a vaccine even exists and up to 20 years for it to work, if it does work.
