Marian Harkin has been the star preformer for me so far. Good, concise and relevant arguments and well made.

Ganley conflating CCCTB and Tax Harmony with Lisbon.

FT must be his policy advisor...

FT#s prior knowledge of his return is enough proof of that :D

Patricia McKenna - "The Minimum Wage is a Key Issue"

How stupid can one person be?

I always thought she was just being intentionally dishonest about Lisbon. It's becoming clearer that she is actually a little bit dim.

Ganley, on the other hand, is still peddling his lies at speed.

Yep - talked about giving the EU the power to "raise it's own resources", a power it already has, a quote that's already in Nice.

    Charlatan.

They're still going on about tax. She just just read the guarantee again and keep reading it until they shut up

She's on a mission alright. Strangely never felt compelled to give her a high preference though but I'll be reconsidering that in future.

From listening to Patricia McKenna over the years, I always feel that when she's allowed speak she feels some powerful compulsion to sluice every single thought from her mind out through her mouth, lest her head explode like in Scanners.

and article 311 is unchanged from nice anyway.

edit: my mistake it is changed, it adds extra securities. Hmm I wonder if it is in our constitutional requirement to have a referendum if the EU tax us.

Yes, he's promoting Ryanair by supporting a yes vote, which he believes will help the economy. Not everything that is good for him is bad for you. And the fact that you don't think the no side are lying is very depressing

He supports the treaty because he seems to believe it hands more power to the E.U from our "incompetent" government. His whole argument is FF are fuking up our economy vote yes to Lisbon. Either he's wrong or I see a very good reason to vote no. Even if he was right, dealing with our idiot government should be done in general election time, right?

Ganley still turns my stomach. I'm grateful that O'Leary, who has no potential electorate to behave for, can go apesh*t on him :D

    All over.

I hate how these debates always take the form

    Lie
    Refutation
    Repeat

    sad really.

It's a shame alright. Harkin did very well though, even if she did have to spend most of her time to refute lies.

Harkin was the best performer, less hysterical than the rest.

As Micheal O Leary put it - the EU are bending over backwards to bribe us to vote Yes. I'm sure his foot is hurting now after that shot.

Today FM website. Certainly worth a listen for the entertainment value.

O'Leary's "bore the arse off ya" swipe at Joe Higgins was brilliant.

It will be on here as a podcast: http://www.todayfm.com/Music/Podcasts.aspx

Not sure when they update it. O'Leary is a good foil for Ganley, doesn't have to hold back.

And if there was any doubt that Ganley has no concept of either logic or cause and effect, there can't have been any doubt after that. The man's showboating to help either his own ego or pocket and badly at that - not even a meerkat would swallow what he's coming out with.

You've got to be joking - were you listening to a different programme? She came off the worst of of three on the Yes side and that's some achievement when you have a smug, self-satisfied arse like Micheal Martin on the same team. In my opinion the NO's won decisively but I suppose I would say that wouldn't I , being a dyed in the wool Euro sceptic. :D
