    I hate this about pubs in general. Especially when you're having a chat with someone you haven't seen in ages, or trying to attract a member of the opposite sex. Even my Dad once said that for feck's sake *shudders*

    Having said all that, I was in there for the first time on Thursday and the music level was bearable. And seeing so many familiar faces was great craic, just like a proper 'local'!

    You'll probably need a student card unless you know someone who can sign you in....that's if it opens at all on open days...

    Afaik you can just walk in up till ike 5, bar opens at 2, I'd imagine they only want >18 Id

    Open Day's are Friday and Saturday.
    Bar is only open from Monday till Thursday.

    Unless they open it especially for the Open Day, which I don't see why they would.

    1 pm till 11.30pm on Mon, Tue and Thur and usually 1.30am on a Wednesday

    Have to say, the bar has injected some serious atmosphere back into DCU.

    Great place to gather, if the music's too loud the smoking area's a bit of craic.

    Well done to the SU on that one!
