I hate recommending games to people since If I've nothing to play, any game will basically entertain me.

Eat lead/Alone in the dark: they aren't the prettiest games but the best endorsement I can give them is that if I'd nothing else to play I wouldn't mind going back to them. They are mostly average, they both have parts that I found really cool, like the humour in Eat lead is awesome, and if I can forgive the flaws of a game because of the better bits then it's ok in my books.

Wolverine is awesome, best movie franchise game I've played since Spiderman. I think it's so good since the game was already in development before the movie or something so it didn't suffer from the usual short development time of other movie based games.

My list was games that were easy to platinum but if you want some fun out of the games, stay away from Tombraider:Underworld I ended up hating the game and swearing off future Tombraider games, it's like they didn't even try to improve anything in the franchise except the graphics, I remember the key selling point at the time of release was that Lara got dirty as she went through the level and that was honestly the most interesting part of the game.

The animals are obviously the focus of the game so luckily they all look really good, everything else looks fairly crappy though. Apart from that it's exactly as you'd expect, some of the missions can be way too slow though but the "Big Game" missions are fun at least, but they are feqw and far between. I have very little paitenance so it's really not the right game for me since 50% of the time you're waiting around for something to happen or driving around looking for some obscure animal that doesn't appear 90% of the time. Now that I've platinumed it I can't see any reason to go back. It has it's moments but all in all not the most exciting game I've played.

I know what you mean, what one person likes another hates...have to admit that Terminator wasn't that bad, yes it was a bit last gen and the loading times were awful but still it had it's moments and like already mentioned a very handy plat.

Thanks for the heads up on Tomb Raider, might give Matt Hazard & Wolverine a shot, would you get the Plat over a weekend...rent or buy?

You could probably get through Matt Hazard in a weekend.

Took about a week for the Wolverine one since there's grinding to be done and the last boss is cheap as hell on the hardest difficulty so I ended up having to take breaks from it by playing other games.

You can buy Matt Hazard for €8 on play, it's really a rent but that's the same price I rent games for so I'd buy it.
At my xtravision it's €8 for a week so you could probably do that for Wolverine, I bought it because I'm a fan but the replayability isn't great so you could probably get away with renting.

Some games are worth the rental - Terminator €5 for 2 nights is perfect, however getting great deals to buy is also ideal - I seen DeadSpace for €9 great deal but already have the Plat. HMV and Xtravision normally have good deals - Burnout Paradise €20 and I've seen Resistance2 for €20 aswell.

If I see the likes of PoP, Star Wars, Eat Lead, Sega Mega Drive and Wolverine around that price mark I'll probably give them ago - at least you can then swap or trade against another game.

He was such an annoying bastard, took me about 10 try's to kill him, I dont know haw many times I just

fell off the tower when he used the laser to destroy it...

so annoying, but the feeling when I beat him was great :pac:

Hey CombatCow I noticed your sig that your playing Buzz Quiz World, how are you getting on? I bought it last month but haven't played much (1 game), are you up for a few online games?

I checked Playfire today for the first time in a while. 34th in Ireland.

You literally have to get four times the amount of trophies to get to Lvl 13 than you did getting from 11-12. Tough trek!

Yeah i'll be up for a few games tomorrow. It's pretty good, the new game modes are fun, I find the quiz subjects more specialised now compared to Quiz TV.

Yeah I try. Things I'll never plat though are Warhawk and Wipeout HD, although I just need 1 more trophy to plat that.

Nearly done on the platinum for Killzone 2 got into the top 1% online last week, only hard one left on that is elite campaign.

Other than that, fairly easy ones like the GOW collection.

Fair few at the moment I would like to get - PES10, Buzz Brain of, Op Flashpoint, PoP, SW:FU, inFamous, COD MW2 along with 1or2 more...must game more often!

Some of those Spec Ops are a little bit tricky. Only have 4 left, Big Brother, Wetwork, High Explosive and Armor Piercing..:rolleyes:

I had been playing special ops with a friend of mine but its hard finding time to suit the two of us. It's highly enjoyable - I'm not mad into online play, an awful lot of nonsense gets thrown around but special ops is very good.

Finishing up a few games these days that ive left at the 80% mark, like cod mw2, resistance 2, brutal legends, eyepet and red faction.Also have infamous,batman,GoW2 and uncharted to play, but i lack the motivation to do so. Just waiting for Final Fantasy and White Knight to come out.

To give this thread a bit of life try this below but remember its still a thread to show your trophy accomplishments.

I know what you mean, have to finish PoP just 6or7 to go, MW2 95%, Sega 1 more, bloody Yatta for the Plat, PES 75% and Burnout 3or4 to go.
And I've just started Batman, Bioshock, SW:FU & Wolverine.

I got my Plats for Bioshock and MW2 last night, happy to finally get the latter as I hadn't played much offline recently.

Any ideas when the leaderboard will get updated? its been awhile.

oh the bioshock plat i was thinking of getting that game on ps3,have it on 360 though so i dont know yet lol. Nice plats though. Let us know when the update is so we can update the cards.:D

Decided to update the leaderboard, just killing time till the UFC tonight.

It goes by level, number of plat's, number of golds, etc.

As mentioned previously fair play to you on the Plat count.

I just went off what QenTox did last time, used the same people and whatnot, there's been a good bit of discussion on this thread which I didn't want to go through to see who's new.

QenTox used the same system, by level then plats.

Has anyone heard of a way to get stats for particular PSN ID's? I don't mean entering a user id into a web page and getting back an image of the details. I mean the actual textual details. I know it's possible, but maybe difficult. Sites such as www.ps3trophies.com and www.ps3trophycards.com do it. If we can find a way, we may be able to create an application that will do the dirty, boring work for us on a regular basis.
