Actually, I have Market Enabler installed and phone is rooted, but I'm unsure how to use the app. Do you just take note of your current code, then select T-mobile USA or similar and when you are finished reboot?

How do you pretend to be in the US? Looks savage.

I use a VPN (Black VPN) but if your device is rooted you can use Market Enabler

TouchPal keyboard is out of beta and free until the end of October.
Seems pretty cool.... good predictive engine.

What I do is kill my market app with a task killer or force stop it. Then change to t mobile us in market enabler then open up the market.

Used to work properly on the old market but doesn't seem to work with the new market at all.

I got a different front page on market with all NFL ads etc but the US only apps don't show up - Google music for example. Had to get the napkins elsewhere.

The best (most fun) racing game I've played on Android yet - Reckless Racing.

    https://market.android.com/details?id=com.polarbit.RecklessRacingLite

But if you do buy the full game watch out, there are two versions, 'Play' is the HD one with improved graphics.

From the same crowd, Reckless Getaway is pretty good too.

Don't know if it has been mentioned here already but <b>TuneIn Radio</b> is my fav. Streaming radio stations from around the world. Only thing is you need a good data plan, I'm on the Jedward Plan as I call it with 3 so find it great. <b>Evernote</b> is another great program.

Yup, Tune in Radio is great... Although for quite some time it would not play the RTE Radio 1 feed, that's been rectified now though...

also, FYI, the bold tags are not <b>

Tis pretty good in general but it has the annoying habit of repeating the first word in a text twice e.g. I type 'Hello' and it writes 'HelloHello'. Seen it mentioned on xda as well, it's a small thing but it's not that much better than Swype that I'd put up with it.

Font installer is handy aswell because it downloads the fonts itself and gives you a preview of them.
    *root needed*

Soccer Livescore does what you need. If there was a match that you wanted to keep track of you just long press the game on the screen and then select "add to watchlist". Any time there is a score in the game you get an alert and the phone vibrates.

If anyone has XBMC installed on their PC and have a wireless network it's fantastic. On your phone/tablet you can browse through your sections with all the art on the phone and use the phone as a remote control for it. Looks freakin' awesome!!!!!

Don't know if anyone posted this before but a great camera app is Paper Camera. It takes your photo and converts it into a sketch. Apologies if posted already but on the phone and not doing a search........!!!

Very new android user here. I recently installed juice defender to try and prolong the battery life of my phone.

I`m having one problem with it however. Its not working very well with my e-mail. Its pulling down any e-mails when turned on. Its supposed to check every 15 minutes and I have my email set to check regularly as well but it just doesnt pull them down.

I`ve turned it off and the e-mails are coming through no problem, so I`m having to leave it off, in work at least, so I dont have to manually check my e-mail.

    Anyone else having similar issues?

Gmail? Gmail uses push email, you shouldn't need to check at all, they're delivered instantly. Mine are, with Juice Defender running.

I bought this today. Absolutely stunning. The fact that it does it in real time is unbelievable.

Get the apk anyways from somewhere and install it. Sometimes the apps work even though they are not compatible

I'm having the exact same issue. I assume you are using the email app rather than the Gmail one - I use it to connect to my work email.
    HTC desire running cm7.

    Similar issue here..

The default email app is a bit ****e imo.. it tells me when there's new mail in the notification bar alright, but when ya go into it there's nothing (at all) listed until you do a refresh.

Default GMail app is far better. I've tried K9 mail too but wasn't a big fan.

Can't add exchange email to Gmail app though.
I wonder is it something to do with multiple accounts configured in it. Push is working again now that I removed my second work account. Or it could be the reboot :D
    More investigation needed.

To keep in the actual spirit of the thread, I got x-construction and find it good fun.
