Oh definitely, if I do get one it'll be a good one. I doubt I could buy an "off the shelf" one anyways. I have enough trouble just trying to find trousers long enough.

try Park Avenue - I think thats the one- but one of the shops there does extra lenght unhemmed trousers for stiltwalkers.

I'd much rather go into a proper menswear shop than a retail outlet tbh. It's probably just me being a dick about it, but I can never get what I want otherwise - And it's nice having someone fussing about you. I got my last summer suit in John Taylors on Baggot St. I think they do some alright sales prices in there, selected suits are about 250. I got a nice navy linen jacket in there, biege trousers and matching shirt for about 450. I think. They knocked a few bob off too.

I don't think I would go to a retail outlet for it either. I couldn't be arsed goin' up the north also.

I know what you mean. I find because of my size I don't get much of a selection and I buy a lot of clothes and get a bit jaded at the shirts etc. My Dad was in the rag trade.

Im into clothes and designer labels and cowboy boots etc.

I like to shop with my girlfriend and have more tops and cupboard space than her:pac:

If Tubridy gets through this in one piece it'll either bring down the government or make Brian Cowen into some sort of demigod.

I'm watching the pair of them now ... it looks scripted to me.

Cowen does not come over well on TV

That other yoke is too fond of interrupting

I havent been able to look at his dehydrated worm head, since he asked Bo Derek about her husband death, and then promptly interrupted her.
He has all the empathy and self awareness of soggy toilet roll.

The difference is soggy toilet roll just might have some redeeming features.

This rubbish isn't worth the TV licence fee

Jesus, Joan Collins is 76!

She must be entirely plastic at this stage.

Turn it off. I found the Off switch on the tellibox a few years ago and life has been better ever since. Mrs.Goat and the kidlets still use it and I'll join them for the occasional film, or TopGear, or Dr.Who :o but after that I go elsewhere and achieve stuff.
Am currently in the kitchen getting tomorrows dinner ready cos tomorrow's gonna be busy. I have music playing, I have a book online, I have Facebook and Boards open and I have a half written morsecode translater script. (Yeah I know there are already available but I like reinventing the wheel.)

Telly hasn't been the same since The Sopranos ended.

Every few months, I get lured back in ... only to realise how turd-awful it really is. Tonight was one of those nights.

I'd love to get rid of the telly altogether ... maybe when the kids are a bit bigger.

Tubridy is like the bastard child of Gerry Ryan. The perfect lounge lizard. If he didn't exist they would have to draw him as a character for Family Guy. If there is such a thing as highly functional Aspergers he has it.

Had a change of heart a while ago about it all.
I've got reasonable skills so may as well put them to use, and even though I do give out about it deep down i still enjoy it :) That and I was working deskside support last time.

Went to see Inglorious Basterds in the cinema. Really enjoyed it, worth a watch. Went for a wander around the park after for a few photographs. Fun times!

Do you know what annoys me? The threads bitchin' about Irish girls. I was in a massive new nightclub in Airside tonight and it was a testament to how stunning a sizeable portion of them are.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 9,925 ✭✭✭Otis Driftwood

You know who the ones bitchin are Trib, the charmless, gormless braindead stains that we get associated with by virtue of the fact we were born with testicles.

They slobber all over someone yet they cant understand why they get told to fcuk off.

    Sigh.

    :(
