8's on bet 365 but as his stats show since march he has posted a profit every month so it's no wonder that the bookies slash his odds or that people back his horse's so much they force odds down

    5.30 NEWMARKET

3 pts win and 1 pt place FINAL VERSE (16-1 general) (now 10s )

    more to follow

This staking only works if you got 12/1 or better. At 16's it is perfect punting logic in the sense that if its placed your costs are covered and youre as close to a free bet as you are likey to get.
At 8/1 the bet would need to be 3 on the win and 1.5 a place.

Hes not what you would call upbeat today, but the prices are right.

I’m not sure there are any cast-iron opportunities at Lingfield or Wolverhampton or Lingfield either, but I’m going to suggest three small-stakes bets

    2.05 LINGFIELD

1 pt win MONTMARTRE (25-1 general)
    5.35 LINGFIELD

2 pts win M’LADY ROUSSEUR (11-1 VC bet)
    5.50 WOLVERHAMPTON

1 pt win KERSIVAY (20-1 general)

A new Hugh Taylor thread has been started for October. I wonder should this one be locked?
