As far as I can see, it's just a modified Evo so it's not a rare car so to speak as there's plenty of Evo's around. If you want rare and raw, look at the TVR sagaris, cheaper than the evo, better looking than the evo, rarer than the evo and it'll deffo keep you on your toes!

Oh, and the only 1 in the country, is 1 of 2 07 reg cars, 2 of the last ever TVR's to registered!

could have been the same one ,are you sure its a cc3 version ,was it big and shapley and wide or a little boxey ,if so its a vigour cc2 version which is very alike ,you can tell em apart by the front the bottom spot lights are orange on the cc2 (vigour) and clear on the cc3 (inspire).if it is an inspire id be very intrested to locate another

ive seen some posts with people refering to cars registered in ireland where can you look at this

This is one of the rarest cars in Ireland:

A Genuine Toyota Aristo V300 Turbo.

And yes before anybody says is a Lexus GS300, its is the jap only edition with the supra turbo engine (J2Z-GTE)

Lexus GS300 has chassis JZS160. Turbo aristo has JZS161

My brothers car is the only one of its kind in ireland:
Year: 1999 Colour: nissan qm3 superwhite

This is a very rare car autech confirmed only 36 were ever made due to their cost of 3.2 million yen. Which was more than a brand new evo at the time!

    lightened flywheel,
Pistons have larger notches in them
Uprated ecu for version 2's only different activation points and more agressive tuning,

    Gearbox:
Nissan factory 5 speed close ratio box with 4.4 final drive designed specifically for version 2's only

    Wheels:
7x15" enkei wheels made specifically as an option for the version 2 n1

There are a lot more than that. around 200 at a guess.

  • Registered Users Posts: 125 ✭✭YraggarY

Ah Colm, I wasn't aware you were active on Boards! :) I was going based on the register over at the Sera site! I should probably keep schtum in future! :pac:

  • Registered Users Posts: 73,407 ✭✭✭✭colm_mcm

maybe there are less, or people are playing down the actual numbers of them around :D

  • Registered Users Posts: 125 ✭✭YraggarY

I can't imagine there being all that many though.. Most people who have one would probably have googled them to find info about parts etc., and surely would've come across the forum? Then again, not everybody says hello! :pac:

Anyone know any numbers, V.R.O. number perhaps, that could tell you how many of each type of car are registered in the country?

Could put an end to the Rarest car in Ireland question! :p

There's one I know of in Lexus Ireland registered as a Demo, and there's one in HB Dennis's showroom's in Airside. There's also one for sale in Galway, so that makes three. Rare enough I suppose!
