I'm sorry to be posting this but i am looking for a new loving home for my 19month old Dalmation X spaniel Cody. Im after getting offered a council house and the garden is way to small for him :(
He is house trained, great with Kids and very gentle with my 4 yr old son. Its breaking my heart having to do this but it wouldn't be fair on him to be stuck in a small garden as he needs space to run and play.
I will try and get pics of him up later, in the mean time i can email some to anyone who is interested, just pm me for details.
    :(

Hello, our names are Thumper and Marmalade.
We are brother and sister, are young, adorable, neutered and really
love each others company! Mammy took us in when someone
she knew had an accidental litter and couldn't find anywhere
for us to live, but she has three big dogs who take up a lot of
her time and she says she would like us to have a nice new
home where we could have some more space and attention!
Could you give us a loving home? We would benefit hugely with a
little more stimulation and interaction with people but are very sweet
    and loving!

Please PM mammy and let her know if you would like to
love us as much as she does! :)

We also have an adopted brother Gir who is a few years
older than us... but we live separately because he doesn't
really like people or other rabbits...!
He lives in a little indoor cage and never leaves this den,
We don't know what his previous owners did to make him so grumpy
but he is a pretty Dwarf rabbit none the less! Gir is dreaming of a home where he can be given some more space to dig and explore and maybe just be left to his own devices... the big dogs here scare him a bit and he seems to be a bit of a lone wolf!

If you are thinking of some adorable rabbits to add to your family, please don't go to a pet shop, we would love you to think about welcoming US into your homes instead! Collection in Dublin, please get in touch asap!

Meet Belle, our beloved Border Collie. She is 10 years old and has been a great companion for us through the years. She loves to run and has been my jogging companion for years. She also loves to play ball (with our neighbours kids to exhaustion), catch bubbles and generally just loves having an active lifestyle.

Unfortunately our situation at home has changed with a three year old and a new baby being too much for her in our small house. Our 3 year old got a nip and so Belle had to go.

Belle would suit a house with older, active kids / teenagers with plenty of space who can give a dog space when needed. She loves being petted by adults, and should be supervised when with children as she can be a bit wary when cornered or trapped by them.

She has always lived indoors and is fully house trained, neutered, chipped, insured and is very healthy, and would make a great companion for a suitable family.

Please give this dog a chance at a new life and she wont leave you disappointed.

    Hi,

We have two cats and one puppy and one of our cats, Lily, just isn't happy since we got the dog. She just spends all her time out the house now and doesn't ever come in whereas she was very affectionate and part of the family before. She's obviously not a happy cat and even though I'll miss her, I think she would be happier in a quieter household where she is the only animal. I'm not going to give her away unless I find a loving home for her but if there is anyone that would like a beautiful and gentle black cat in their home then please PM me. She is 6.5 years old, fully vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and spayed. I've attached a picture of her sitting in one of her favourite spots!

    Thanks.

Hey guys, I'm moving house soon and can't take my three guinea pigs with me.

Does anyone know where I can advertise them to go to a loving home? I've put a few ads online but have yet to hear any interest.

I'm giving them away for free (with cage). I know adverts.ie do not allow advertising of pets.

    Located in Galway.

mick murphy I've put your post into our Rehoming Thread, if you have photos of your guinea pigs you can post them here, perhaps someone here may be able to give them a home.

Are the guinea pigs in a glass tank? That is not suitable housing for guinea pigs. If you want I can put them on my site as well (it's a guinea pig information/care site) pm me if you do.

  • Registered Users Posts: 23 mick_murphy

Hi Sigma, no they're not in a glass tank. It's my friend's gerbil cage, it was just easier to take pics on top of it.

I have a possible home lined up, but if it falls through I'll pm you about this.

    Thanks for your help!

Hi, I am looking for a home for an abandoned ginger kitten (about 12 months). He is microchipped and vaccinated, ideally- he would be very happy at a place with the garden (or easy access to outdoors). Thanks a lot!

2 cats looking for a loving home together:

Lily and Luna are from the same litter (sisters) and are 4 years old. They are small cats max. 3kg/6lb each and extremely friendly and sociable, enjoy playing, cuddles and being brushed.

They eat dry food. They are housetrained, fully vacinated, neutered and wormed with medical certificate for their lifetime.

I am giving them up due to allergies becoming too severe. I do not want to split them up as they have always stuck together. I can include a large litterbox suitable for 2 cats, feeding bowls, grooming kit, cat bed and hammock, 2 pet carriers and cat toys.

We are local in Munster, but are willing to travel for the right home.

    Please PM for details.

Male puppies looking for home. 5 in total. They were dumped and we are looking after them so not much info on them. Possibly lurchers. They had a quick check up in the vets and all appear healthy. Must be indoor dogs. PM me if interested.

This little one came into our care on Friday, full story is that a family friend (has medical issues) apparently paid some so called 'friends' 160euro for her, he was away for 3 days so they just threw her over his back wall, we've been looking after her since as he is not in a position to care for an animal.

She's approx 8-12months old maximum, is great with people and other dogs, is fully house trained and really nice.

We can't keep her, she's going to a rescue place on Friday (Ash i think, Mother in law has arranged), thought i'd throw it out here first, she'd be great company for an older person.

Have no idea what breed she is but we've been calling her Little Fox as she looks like a fox (but she is definately NOT A FOX!!!!!)

Hi Guys, we have 5 lovely little black and white kittens and their mum looking for a new home.
Priya - their mum came to us less than 1 year old, after being abandoned probably, but has been a very loving cat and a great mother. And her kittens are beautiful as you can tell. About 7 weeks old now and full of fun

We would consider giving them away, only to a good home, in pairs preferably...
    Pm me!

I found 3 abandoned tabby kittens today. They look really healthy, no mites, or problems. very friendly and playful. 2 girls and 1 boy. They have spent the day around a German Shepard and 2 very boisterous kiddies and got on like a house on fire. Would love to find a happy home for these kitties as I have 3 of my own so I couldn't possibly keep them but I couldn't leave them abandoned either. Please PM me if you are interested, thanks

Beautiful, friendly, extremely intelligent, placid female 5 month old, Golden Retriever X German Sheppard, has all her injections, has been regularly wormed (last done 1wk ago) and deflead (done Wed) she's a very quick learner, knows lots of commands already (sit, lie down, get up, get down etc) and lives for head pats and belly rubs.

She will come with her blankets, to help her settle into her new home easier, her bowls, food, shampoo, comb, car harness/seat belt, leash, her teddies etc, etc, etc, everything we have for her, no expense was spared, we absolutely love her, a severe allergic reaction causes this sad search for a new home.

We hope her new owners will love her as much as we do, and she will be a part of their family, she loves kids, is independent enough to entertain herself when you're busy, but loves tummy rubs and snoozing at your feet, a real water baby she loves the beach, loves her walks, Our vet said she's very healthy, and we'd never have any problems with her temperament, she actually fell asleep while he injected and checked her over .

Please if you know anyone who may be interested let them know as this is a heartbreaking conclusion, and very difficult for myself and her as I cannot touch her without risking another serious reaction (which tbh I'm finding impossible to do), my partner is working 12 hour days all week, and next week too. I absolutely hate to think of her missing out on any of the play and affection she's used to :(

(My sincere apologies again to AJ for my earlier post (all these meds are messing me up big time))

If you have any questions message me any time :) I can email more photos if anyone would like them. Thanks.

Hi all, These two dogs belong to a very good friend. Unfortunately due to work commitments he can no longer keep them, he is eaten away by guilt that they are on their own for so long during the day while he is in work. They are both neutered & spayed. They are a very intelligent 3 year old CollieXLabrador called Naomi and a shy German ShepherdXRottweiler who is thought to be at least 4/5 years old (Friend has had him two years). I used to live with these dogs so I can vouch for their behaviour & personality. Both dogs are currently indoor dogs. They have never been around children, both can be boisturous so a home with teenagers/adults might be more suitable. As they are not getting enough exercise at present this is most likely the cause.

Naomi would be best suited to an experienced dog owner as she is strong on the lead, nothing basic handling/training would not fix. Being a collieX she will need a lot of exercise. She has brilliant recall and can perform basic commands. She was great with my kitten while we lived there but was not a happy camper with neighbor cats passing by the window. Her socialisation skills need to be worked on. Naomi was rescued from a hoarder so she did not receive the best start in life. She is happy to sit on the sofa and watch tv with you.

Odin is a big boy, he loves attention and is one of the most affectionate dogs I have ever met. He was also rescued from an abuser so he can be a little shy around noise sometimes. He also knows basic commands and prefers to stay by your side even when off leash. He is alright with cats but probably best in a home without them.
