    I like Josh.

    But he's a markedly different kettle of fish to this.

    Dear me.
    Squat got a little bit messy as it got on. Couple of them I didn't really sit back far enough. But mostly ok. Last set was tough but not really.
    Left hip is still not great. Its taking a lot of effort to get it moving.
    Its like Psoas/Groin. Its stopping me stretching the groin and external rotators properly, hurts a bit when I push my knees out.

    Pendlay Rows

    20x10, 50x5, 60x3, 65x3, 70x3, 75x3, 80x2x3

    80 was probably a bit slow.

    Didn't feel strong, took a while to fix my hip.
    Second work set it was still at me.
    Took a while too.

    Shouldn't have gone for the 90.
    I was fierce rushed, and the bar just stopped at about 4 or 5 inches off.

    What a tedious uncomfortable loveless session that was.
    Better get better.....

    My Shoulders and waist are cut to bits and my elbows felt like they would blow up. Lots of band stuff.

    Curls

    6kgx10 DB.

    Just to get my elbows moving.
    Bout the gayest thing I have ever done.

    Then a whole load of hip stuff.

    Interestingly I have noticed that if I try any External rotator stretches (e.g. Pigeon or Executive stretch) I feel compression in the pit of my groin/front of the pelvis.

    I tried this today, right hip stretched grand, left got this usual problem.
    So I tried Kelly Starretts thing where you balance on your knee and try to push your hip back out of your ass & grind around. After doing this for a bit, I could get the proper stretch out of the pigeon....

    I never get sick bar the odd cold.
    Nothing ever goes wrong bar the odd stressed joint.

    However I commit myself to Smolov and what happens?

    I am ****ing diseased.
    Came out in hives on sunday morning. All over the place.
    They went away and then came back.
    Now I have a rash basically everywhere.

    This is only being posted as I have no clue what caused it or if its contagious.
    So I'm not sure if its fair to train....

    I will see how I am tomorrow.

    Huge allergic reaction to god knows what.

    I am now on corticosteroids for a few days.
    Thats smolov out the window.

    I'll probably redo week one next week, go from there.

    No.

    It was a murderous utacaria. Hives over a lot of my body.
    But its gone now, It seems to be biological clothes detergent.

    Had a terrible time recently with a rash on upper eye lids recently. Was convinced I was allergic to something and was trying to figure it out for ages. Turns out it was psoriasis. Working out always made it very red and agitated looking.

    Actually had it to varying degrees for a few years now. Didin't know what it was though. It would come and go but never had it too bad until recently. I actually thought it was the metal in my glasses and bought new glasses etc. Once I bought the right steroid cream for it went away almost instantly. Few months later and it might be coming back a bit. No doubt a short course of the cream (still have loads left) will sort it out.

    I might have it long-term but its extremely treatable and confined to a very small, specific area.

    Gonna see if the vendor will replace.

    Laughlinstown has a funny mish mash of different plates.
    They certainly weren't all bought at once.

    They have one set of 1 1/4 kg plates and those puppies.
    I think they are 2.5 lb
