Funny how that Renault cab looks so small on it.

It was the same with the old model with the Ford cab.

DAF XF105 loaded up and ready to go to Moscow. My brother in law normally drives this but had only come back from Moscow late on December 26th and they wanted him back out to get this back over by December 31st. Boss was politely told to get someone else to drive it.

The old F12 is the bees knees. I love them, they were years and years ahead of the competition at the time.

There's one earning a crust here in Perth, I see it pulling an old tandem tipping trailer

seen this a few times near Baldoyle driving but finally managed to snap it yesterday. Lovely looking truck but probably way too young to have done the middle east

    Slow haha

Flat out on the foot throttle was about 48mph and you could squeeze another 1 or 2 with the hand throttle

I did like driving it though, crash box was a challenge when towing an 8 wheeler

I'm at a loss as to the make. Maybe a Transcontinental?

    Anyone know better?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,376 ✭✭✭O.A.P

    Foden
I think ,could be way out though.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,992 ✭✭✭Slideways

I don't think it's a Foden. They were mostly Fibreglass cabs with a full length grill

It's like a Volvo F6 or an old DAF but I can't find a picture to match - especially with the curved window.

ERF maybe? Like this. Not a truck expert just a random search of old models.

He got the bull bar second hand from cork during the week. The bumps were in it. Hard yolk to put on as bonnet will have to open
