Ports Required to Be Open for Xbox Live and Games for Windows Live
To ensure that you can connect to as many as people as possible please ensure you have the following ports on your router open if your are playing on Xbox Live and Games For Windows Live or both.

PS3 users should ensure that there NAT Type Settings are set to either 1 or 2.

Well I bought the game over steam just now so I should be on by tomorrow when it unlocks, will probably be using the GFWL name "leimrod" so you can add that one to the list. I've already joined the steam group as well.

Will have to look around for a save file to unlock the characters and colours. Do not want to have to do that again :pac:

What are you's using for voice comms? Would be nice to chat and get pointers on what I'm doing wrong. Are you's using vent?

Well playing against Neptune yeterday we used ventrillo. But I noticed the game had a noticeale amount of input lag. Later on we tried again and we did not use vent and nept hosted and input lag dissappeard. Not sure what was the cause.

Incidently neptune did not realise in game coms where on and I could hear him. Seems ingame coms are much cleaer than the horrible PS3 version. Might be worth a shot.

If not I can pass on the vent details to you leimrod.

Well I have a very expensive PC that I built and overclocked just sitting in the corner that has it's own dedicated connection to the grid but is currently only getting used for the "Sims 3" and "Plants versus Zombies"... I cry myself to sleep at night just thinking about it

Had to change that, plus my usual catatonic posture playing PS3 games doesn't work for Street Fighter IV. I have to sit upright so that my hands are over the stick and buttons, sitting like this works better in my PC chair anyway.

No Kirby its actually 5 euro cheaper if you pre-order. I'm sure some online retails can do it cheaper though.

well its 34 euro on steam, and 23.50 on play.com.

Steam are such asshats with their 1:1 ratio on dollar to euro exchange. I'm sorry, digital distribution should be cheaper than store bought. It has to be mailed to me, and i get a box, manual and physical copy of the game..... tax haven or not, the difference is shocking. Steams overhead is virtually nothing and yet they charge more than Game or HMV.

I'd like it right now, but I amnt going to pay 33% more. Ill wait the two weeks for the mail to arrive.

Capcom recommended retail price is $39.99/€39.99 for retail and digital distrabution so its about right. They themsleves obviosuly don't care about exchange rates themsleves.

Capcom where asked why digital distrabution was not cheaper than retail on PC.

1. They said that somethings disc is cheaper for certain size games. Bandwidth costs money apparantly.

2. Seems like the PC middlemen such as Steam are taking more of a cut than Sony and Microsoft are for PSN and Xbox Live. One of the orginal reasons for digital distrabution was cheaper prices because the middle man was cut out. Seems to be false.

3. They can't undercut retail stores or some retail stores will refuse to stock their games.

I dont believe in artificial restrictions in pricing. A car costs more in ireland because....it costs more to sell a car here. Digital distribution is much, much cheaper to run than bricks and mortar and the price should reflect that. If it doesn't, it won't get my custom. Its that simple. Eventually they will cop themselves on and realise they are losing business because of it.
