Please refrain from using derogatory language when referring to women.

"a bow, a weapon practically guaranteed to inflict maximum suffering on the animal"

Obviously you have empirical evidence to support this statement.

"The people are starving" argument is irrelevant. A large bullet would have fed them as well."

    Who is making this argument?
    Not I.

"The villagers kept scaring the other elephants. They would run away from the wounded one but would run back to him. It was a constant running back and forth. I was ready to go after the one I shot but Dudley said that it was too dangerous. He was too close, the others were agitated and it was getting dark. We decided to leave until the next morning."

"A large bullet would have fed them as well."
Large bullets, in and of themselves, are not in any of the food groups and do not supply any nutritional value that I am aware of.

    (1) Don't back-seat moderate please, and
    (2) He was talking about a specific person, not a gender in general.

I have edited the post. It was not my intention to be a back seat driver.:D
He was talking about a specific person, not a gender in general.

So that makes acceptable? Just curious.
