They are the 2 mel collier tips today.
He rarely tips on an Irish race, could be worth looking at

Gary O'Brien has picked STONEMASTER e/w for that race at 6/1-ish

This Guy is doing better than all our tipsters at the minute. 20 odd points up in January 33% strike rate and no long losing runs......

    I wonder.......

By backing market movers from what i've seen. Fair play to him being 20points up but they seem to be tips picked from where the money's going.

Bits of money for 2 outsiders Ellandshe and Lusento.......... but no real significant support for anything as far as I can see.

Toy Gun at 11/1 with The Fabricator a poor 3rd. It was like a race where according to the market none of the connections fancied their horse?

Feck me..........Mel is in a class of his own.
Stonemaster was 5/1 went to 13/2 and 7/1 and was well supported late into 9/2.

I assume you backed it Mike, well done! The problem with my idea is its a lot easier for me in hindsight than it is as the race goes off........ lol

I did cos I follow Gary O'Brien, also whatever about Mels form the price wasn't e/w so I wouldn't have backed it anyway.

I haven't been following him. Alll I know is he is from ATR. Are you getting some decent winners and making a profit from Gary? What sort of strike rate does he have?

As you can see he does quite well, in spurts!

Anyone got the results for the last 2 days. I know he had 14/1 to 5/1 winner yesterday and I think Mel had another loser yesterday? But I missed everything today?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 88,968 ✭✭✭✭mike65

Check the RP tomorrow if its a win they'll trumpet the fact.

Some big fields running tomorrow hopefully TS has his pin sharpened. The big race here is paid to 5 places on PP so some scope for lumping on e/w!

Pricewise front page - 33/1 stunner tomorrow! Gallant Light (Leop 3.05) which is in from 33 to mid 20s could be the one. It has a definite chance as well looking at its form. Tarkari also in from 33/1 is another, Willie Mullins isn't sure he'll cope with the ground.

The Sawyer (Ascot 3.45) is also in from 33/1, this one is kinda interesting carrying only 10-4 does have some form to draw upon a distant 2nd to Razor Royale in the Irish Times Amateur Riders' Handicap Chase at Chelters carrying 11-6.

Fortification in the 3.30 at haydock is a pricewise tip.
Drever Route at 3.30 in catterick was pricewise extra yesterday, adv at 5/1, didn't win

Brilliant win with Whinstone Boy in the Thyestes, I got him at 11/1. I had more belief in lochan locha because I heard good word from the stable, but it was even better to see whinstone boy do the business.

    Gallant light 3.05 leop
    C'est ca. 3.05 leop
