selections up at 11 59 but my internet is seriously slow today! in the 3 30 toy gun won a coulpe of 3 miles in heavy ground around christmas last year at carlisle, 3 mile 2 will suit better as he stayed on really well on his last run on good ground. only 7 pounds higher than when he thrashed rivals last year.

4 00, horse was a good 1m 2f flat horse but something was amiss when running in three races over hurdles. now in a better stable, soft ground will suit and has been off for 500+ days so the long trip found for him must mean he is fit. andrew is usually right on these things!!

got them at 4s and 3s

the shorter trip of 2 miles might just be whats needed, not a great race either with lots needing the run and others out of form. he is a good jumper and strong galloper which will lend itself well to this race. kept up well behind chapel flowers until fading at the death

    lots of love mr barr:D

that was a truly god awful tip made twice as bad since he doubled the stake, i mean if he that wasnt that sure (bearing in mind it struggled to finish 6th or wherever) he could have left it as a 1 pointer..

I stopped listening to mel collier a long time ago and it does seem Super Segal is the only one worthy of blind respect so i might just keep going until the next winner (which is due imminently) to get back what i lost this week and take stock then.. sadly im makin more money playing paddy power roulette these days

    :(

Which furthers a run they wont be putting on any banners.
So, tomorrow it's Mel 'tips-only-a mother-could-back' Collier, to the rescue then...

    Deadly.

Pricewise Extra is a couple of points down on the month after a great profit last month. I think you guys are expecting a bit much.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51 ✭✭slothrop

Yes, it's still definately horse racing and the odds are stacked but why shouldnt expectations be high; especially when professional tipsters are involved.

The Post believes it makes commercial sense to back their interest - unless all that noise last week was just sheer hubris.

Last Month Pricewise Extra made a profit of nearly 40 points at SP. This month they are down a couple of points and people start complaining. Its hilarious.

    Russian Sage
    5.50 Kempton
    1pt win 7-1

reasoning behind it is its a grade 1 horse in a race where no other horse has won beyond class 2

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 133 ✭✭markhiggins

    very late.... 5 50 kempton russian sage, 1 pt @ 7/1

that is true i suppose they are always up (even at sp) but the long runs of losers can be dis-heartening especially with that infuriating failure yesterday

looks like theres an antepost pricewise today for the hennesey gold cup. don't know if its tom segal don't know what the horse is but i'm guessing its ATOUCHBETWEENACARA 20/1. thats the one i'm on anyway based on the fact that its the only one cut by bookis and on betfair. needs confirming.

    mel

    4 20 Wolverhampton

    Jewelled 1 pt at 14s

thinks that the drop to 7 furlongs will make the difference, had been racing 1m2 with no success, dropped to 1m and got 223, at the furlong pole every time it was 111.
