    I was looking at www.xfire.com today and noticed on the list of most popular games CoD4 is in second place CoD2 third place and CoD:WaW is at ninth place.

    true, it was very random, with promod3 and cook nades, but now promodlive has reduced the random factor and game is much more balanced and enjoyable to play.

    Both games are great IMO but i kinda prefer WaW tbh.!

    why, because you can't shoot point and click at people, you have to rocketjump/sticky jump, get midair shots and stuff? :P

    no, i just never had any fun playing any of the classes in the game besides the sniper, that and the way its a too much team based, doesnt suit my gamestyle:P

    Can someone explain to me why WaW is terrible on the PC? I have heard about this numberous times.

    I played CoD4 on the PC recently, quite mad compared to console. Took a while to get use to.

    For some it was terrible because their ISP was NTL/UPC and they couldn't connect , beyond that I have no idea .


    edit : oh yeah , some had a problem with the sound as well , no idea what that was about either .

    COD4 simply one of the best games of all time, WAW is great and the trophies are fairly handy, but MW for me.

    Funny enough I re-installed CoD2 2 days ago and I forgot how good it was! Playability is by far better! I think I'll be doing 50/50 between CoD2 and CoD4 now!

    I prefer Cod4 by miles for single player and multiplayer. The only reason I will play Cod5 is if I'm playing zombies with my friends.

    Bought cod4 and cant beleive the difference in the games. Graphics so much sharper. Still big fan or WaW but prob switch to cod4 when i get used de it. Now i can see for myself what all the fuss is about

    I have to say that CoD 4 is the best in the series. The modern setting was a breath of fresh air from the usual WWII setting. I got CoD 5 the other day and while it is a great game (I love the double barrelled shotgun and flamethrower) i still prefer CoD 4.

    In fairness parts of WAW are class, I love the flamethrower but modern warfare is king, can't wait for warfare 2, looks like a savage game.
