Who's feeling disgust? I'm pretty sure cats don't get morally outraged if you spit on them.

I don't believe anyone's feeling disgusted, just surprised that someone can be that revolting. It shows a complete lack of manners and I would say intelligence.

You're only pretty sure they don't feel outraged..... I'm certain they don't. I guess that helps back up my last point.

I'm not going on like anything. Regardless of whether it's a cat or any other animal it's moronic behaviour. I'd have thought we had evolved beyond the need to spit on an inferior creature.

    Clearly not.

    Inferior creature?!?! Hmph!

Well when someone says something is disgusting its a fair assumption they're disgusted. If your not fair enough I just don't see how anyone could feel strongly one way or the other about someone spitting on a cat.

Also if you believe that your 101% certainty that cats don't feel moral outrage helps back up any point your making than it would want to be a very odd point.

I once sent my dog out to chase a cat .But it just sat and looked at the cat and the cat just sat and looked at him .They just stared and stared for ages .Then the cat got bored and pissed off :(

My friend once threw a cat as high up in the air as he possibly could to see if it would land on its feet. Therefore, he threw it up upside down so the cat had no bearings and thirty feet later the cat smacked the ground on its side. It let out a wierd yelp, and calmly proceeded into the nearest ditch, where it most likely died.

Also, another friend swung a cat by its tail and threw it off a shed roof. That cat landed well though, was able to run off.

    Nothing on TV that day?
Seriously though...why would either of them want to do that?

I only hope that some day those friends of yours meet someone who is just as interested to do those same experiments on your friends.

I once threw a cat into a wall. I was minding it for my uncle and during the night the fucker somehow managed to come into my room while I was sleeping. I woke up to the cat lying on my head. I just panicked and threw it across the room without realising it was the cat. It was ok though, and I spent the rest of the night playing with it.

I dont know. Well, with the flinging of the cat by its tail, it wasnt into anything, just on to the lawn, and with the launching of the cat upwards, well, He just wanted to proove wrong the view that cats always landed on their feet.

In a forum where stupidity can sometimes be the norm, this is a new low.

And just when you thought you'd hit a new low, Kiera follows it up with this little beaut!.

I've kicked a cat, never spat on one tho. Spitting isnt very lady-like.

My last cat died after (in the vets opinion) it was kicked. It suffered a fractured pelvis and fractures to one of its rear legs, eventually the kidney damage killed it.

The Vets says its pretty common to find the most horrendous cruelty inflicted on cats, kicking being the most common.

Someone who'd kick a cat probably doesn't give a flying fuck what other's opinions are of their actions - but I think your actions were sick, disgusting & cowardly.

But hey, its only a cat - eh!.

I think it was on here before on another cat thread that someone went to view a flat in belfast and it was a really dank awful place with a horrible smell in it. Turned out there was a dead cat in the place and the guy threw it out the window - I think it might have been their student digs or something like that.

The next day in the paper there was an article on the practise of the black arts on the area and as proof they had found a cat impaled on a fence spike...was the cat yon guy had flung out the window :D

Well, i have no problem with people liking cats, but when they say they love dogs. Well to me it says a certain amount about their personality.

Dogs are scavengers. Just like most humans

What kind of brain defect must someone have to want to hurt an animal thats not trying to hurt them...

I could probably understand if you wanted to kill the cat, take it home and eat it.

No I don't have any pets at all, just some sense of what's right and wrong.
